This TV is the perfect size for my apartment living room. I don't have a lot of room, so a 40 inch TV worked out great. Setting it up was very easy and it connected to my wifi with no issues. The picture quality is great and blue ray movies are awesome on it.

On a whim we just decided we needed a bigger tv (our old one was 32"). Went to Best Buy & saw this one. We have heard good things about Samsung & were interested in the Smartv feature. Took it home, set it up & loved it! Just wish we could have gotten the 50"!!!

I like the smart tv feature which allows you to access netflix and the internet.

I've been a Sony customer for a long time, but was looking for a less-expensive Smart TV for my basement room. I'm very impressed with the picture quality for the price I paid. The Wi-Fi setup was very simple. Samsung provides a Verizon FiOS app that I find very useful and I love being able to use the Live TV function over my Internet connection. I'm very happy with this purchase and will consider Samsung as an alternative to Sony in the future.

Deep rich colors on TV programs, fits well on 53 inch TV stand, nice balance.

Consumer's Report gave the Samsung 40 inch set an excellent rating and they were correct in their assessment. Any larger set would have been too big for my den. I was also surprised how light in weight it was especially compared to the set it replaced.

This is the 3rd Samsung we have purchased, this is the first smart TV, its nice to not only have a great picture but to be able to use the internet, down load movies from Netflicks. We love it.

This TV is the perfect size for a medium sized room. It was very easy to set up and the remote was very easy to figure out. It only takes a few minutes to get connected to Wifi and download apps. Our family enjoys watching Youtube videos and Netflix.

Out of the box the picture was great. I tweaked it a little after reading a review, made it a little brighter and more color. Sound is very good in my living room. For music I turn on SRS sound. I like that it has 2 USB ports. USB 3.0 flash drive plays, but when the TV is turned off and back on, it does not recognize the USB device. USB 2.0 shows on the Source list all the time. This easily connected to my Wifi, just be sure to key the security code correctly, it is case sensitive. I was disappointed that the TV does not have the Youtube APP, but you can get there via the browser but it is very slow to key and move the cursor. Not worth it. I have not used the Apps nor Netflix movies. I have 2 windows in the room, sunlight is not problem on this screen. Excellent buy. I have a DVD player connected with HDMI (cable not included).

Great picture, reasonably priced and user friendly.

This is my second Samsung TV, and surely not my last. This is my first foray into the SmartTV market and I didn't go wrong with this TV. It has a remarkable picture. The apps available are really swell too. The only glitch I had was using my satellite radio on it. The app was available for SiriusXM, of which I am a subscriber, but I couldn't get it to work. I called SiriusXM and they informed me that they weren't compatible with Samsung TV's just yet. It will be available in the future. The sound is not very good either, but all flat screen TV's have terrible sound. I'm sure if you hook it up to a soundbar or other home theater sound system it would be wonderful. I have it in a bedroom, so the sound is adequate for that room. You can not go wrong with this unit, for it's an all around great TV

You need a Smart TV keyboard to more easily navigate & use the internet apps. The remote is not enough.

I love everything about the tv from the slim size to the amazing picture the wireless web browser it what sold me on it and being able to sinc it with my Samsung phone is awesome

I bought it on Black Friday and it only took me 15 min to get in line. what I love about this TV is it has built in Wifi and a smart TV too!! picture is great but that sound could be better. well it's a good entry for its price!!
