I already have a 7 year old Samsung 61" LCD with no problems experienced so when looking for something to replace a bad Sony 50" that was in the bedroom. I started researching and watching the TV's in the local Best Buy. I selected the Samsung 40" Smart TV based on the picture clarity, reviews, (published and consumer), being able to connect to the internet and my previous experience with Samsung. Everything went smoothly when setting the TV up except I kept getting an error message when connecting to the internet. Once I shut the TV off and then back on again (re-boot) no problem connecting. So just like a computer doing updates, remember to re-boot when setting it up. Purchase a remote keyboard and mouse. It makes using the TV easier and faster than using the remote when on the internet.

I don't have cable, so I needed a TV for Netflix. I considered getting a device to stream content over, but a friend suggested this smart TV instead. I'm not a big person, but I successfully lifted it around to set it up. I was mildly confused about what buttons on the remote did what, but I figured it out. I use it mostly for netflix and pandora, but sometimes I'll do a fitness video with it. I was hoping to watch some things from the web browser, but it buffered my program a lot and didn't have the memory to let it sit and load for a while. I recommend getting a wireless keyboard because it's quite tedious to type in web addresses. It definitely wasn't the cheapest TV out there, and for what I use it for, I probably would have been happier with a cheaper TV... but I'm happy anyway.

Excellent product, excellent featues. Feels like an oversized Ipad. It was easy to set up and coupled with surround sound speakers, I feel like I am in a real movie theatre.

We bought this TV for a rental condo and it is fabulous! What a beautiful clear picture, accurate colors and great sound.We are very happy with this TV and it has tons of features that are actually usable. Sometimes you buy a product that has lots of features but they are either too hard to use or unnecessary. Not with this TV!

Had to have TV good for a real small space in basement room. This fit the bill and has a great picture. Being technology -challenged I found this to be very easy to setup and use. Thinking buying another set for the lake house.

Very happy with this TV. Easy to use, quick connection to the internet, good picture quality. Some complain about the size, but for an apartment, it's perfect. No complaints - very happy with Samsung products in general!

I have been using this TV for almost 3 months now and the product is just awesome. the picture quality of the photos and videos is great and connecting this to the internet and watching stuff over it is just fun.!!!

Although I'm not a big fan of many Samsung products I think their TVs continue to be first class. This particular model has a great picture at a reasonable price.

Overall I think that it is a very good TV. I purchased as a open box and could not beat the price. The picture is very sharp and crisp. The sound is also very decent. Very easy to connect to the internet with no lag. Wish I could get another at the same price as this one.

We were concerned about purchasing a smart TV as neither of us is that technologically smart! However, it was very easy to hook up and is also easy to navigate. The picture and quality is remarkable for the low price.

This was an anniversary gift for my husband's office and he loves it! The crispness of picture is awesome & connects to Internet easily. Little heat comes off screen and that is a plus. Totally recommend this product!

Love the built in Wifi. I dont use a dvd player at all. I use netflix and amazon. you can check ur facebook or browse the internet from it. the preice was very reasonable for how great a TV it is. HIGHLY recommended.

Overall good deal. TV is easy to use. Apps are great.

I love this TV, it's great for the family, my kids love that they can easily get on Netflix without having to change it over to use the Xbox to get on it. Very easy to use and to set up, and picture quality is great.

Samsung makes great TV's and this is no exception. Easy to setup, decent apps. I only wish there were better options to remote control it using a tablet or smart phone. I also wish the remote was brighter at night.

Was looking for a small tv for the bedroom, came with lots of features, easy to set up, and easy to use. Has a lot of great feature that I have not yet used, but will get around to it, like having the option.

This is not my first Samsung tv, so I knew the quality would be there. Very impressed with the picture quality and price.

Very easy to set up, has a good amount of ports including a 2 USB 2.0 ports for showing off pictures and such. Only TV to have HBO GO as an app which is huge.

Love how I can get access from my samsung smartphone. Great picture quality and size for the price. Came with wifi which was easy to set up. Unless you can get something cheaper this is the best TV for your buck
