Great picture and sound. Samsung has always had great picture and they continue to excel at it.

Prior to the purchase of this Samsung we had a Samsung but with 37 inch claimed dimensions. The new larger claimed dimension actually has no more picture surface than the old one. The vertical dimension is less on the new TV than our original, even though a larger dimension is claimed. Granted we should have been more observant when buying but the concern was the overall physical dimension of the TV. In discussion with the in store tech we discussed the claimed dimension of the old one and tech should have mentioned the actual screen size area is not larger. When we decided to get another set, we wanted a larger screen but are limited by the length, physical dimension of the spot where the TV is installed. As a result we didn't get what we thought we were getting. To answer the following question, I would inform the friend if asked that the claimed dimension advertised and shown is misleading.

My experience with this television so far is just about perfect. It delivers a great picture, bright, colorful, and crisp. There were some tricky quirks during set-up--the on-line aspects--but other than that, no complaints. If it proves reliable over time, then I will be completely satisfied.

When I plugged it in, my Samsung phone buzzed. The TV asked if I wanted to set it up using my existing information. Phone was to confirm set up and BAM, it was done. No muss no fuss.

We couldn't handle the soap opera effect in movies. Overall not bad, Qloud worked but there's a delay of broadcast from devices, no big deal, occasionally the Wifi timed out, that was annoying. I have an Arris router so pretty sure it's the tv's wifi that's weak. For the discounted open box, I was happy, though I did upgrade to a 55 to give to my mother in law instead. Sharp Aquos with Miracast.

I bought this TV because of the great picture and the 4K feature. The product does do what it advertises. It up scales 1080 picture to a high resolution (but not 4k, but close). It also works great with 4K TV and films. I cannot give feedback on the sound of the TV, since I use a sound bar.

Set up was simple. Colour and clarity fabulous. It comes with many possible apps.

This Samsung television, as well as the other Samsung televisions I have, is fantastic. The images are great and the 40" size is ideal for my bedroom. I love Samsung...have Samsung phone and tablet as well as TVs.

Had this tv for just over a month now, great so far. Love the number of viewing options it has, and it even works great with my wireless cloud drive. Highly recommend it.

I bought this to use as a computer monitor, took about 15-20 mins to set up properly , but works great . 4k @60hrtz, no lag

The upscaling of HD programming creates an image that is almost too high resolution. It takes some time to become accustomed to such a sharp image.

Was a great TV picture wise. Samsung did not provide any updated apps, so had to buy a Roku for it to add on services we wanted. TV died in less than 5 years. Dissapointing in that sense.

The response lag on this television is quite low in gaming mode and therefore makes it a very solid television for gaming. It is not quite as good for watching movies however. Make your television purchase based on primary use.
