We love this tv. It is relatively easy to switch from cable to selected online services such as Amazon Prime and Netflicks. Picture quality is excellent. We haven't quite worked out surround sound yet, which appears to be the fault of our older amplifier. When upgrading it is sometimes necessary to upgrade other parts of your system.

This Samsung has a fantastic 4K (and non-4K) picture. In addition, the small casing around the screen looks very sleek. I read some reviews about not enjoy the remote control but I found it to fairly intuitive, especially if you have had Samsung televisions within the past 8 years. Overall great value and picture. Win. Win.

The TV has a great picture and very easy to use apps

Great picture and audio. Primarily use this TV for Netflix and DVD's whenever the other 60 inch TV is being used by other family members. Very much satisfied with this item.

I bought a Geek Squad Certified unit while the TV was on sale and am so happy I did! A 40" 4K smart TV for $380 is a huge bargain, in my opinion. The picture looks great and it picks up the wifi signal very well despite being in the farthest corner of my office from the router. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this TV again.

I hesitated thinking it would be difficult to setup. It was simple. I had internet access in no time and it is easy to switch between Internet and cable. Picture is great.

Good for the price; good color and picture. But HBO Go basically stopped working about 10 days after purchase. Any HBO show streams for maybe 2-3 minutes then buffers for 90 seconds. This goes on endlessly. I have no idea how to fix it. When I researched this particular problem it turned out that Samsung TVs are known for having this problem--lots of frustrated TV owners. Wish I'd known this before buying it; otherwise it's a great TV.

The only improvement I see (thus the 4 not 5 stars) with such a high-end TV, we were surprised it doesn't have capabilities for closed captioning. We found we had to connect another device to accommodate the need for closed captioning. The picture is amazingly clear and well defined; feels like you are there in the program. Streaming is a breeze. We are still learning some of the other capabilities and love this tv.

It is easy to use and the size is perfect for work use

I got black Friday deal on this TV. What a bargain! Great TV. I own another Samsung (65in smart TV) and was very happy with it. Iyou are shopping for a TV I would advise sticking with a Sony or Samsung. only two brands I trust.

At a list price of around $900, I am EXTREMELY disappointed that the RED on/off indicator light can NOT be dimmed and/or be turned off OR be a nice muted color. When you try to go to sleep, that light is WAY TOO BRIGHT. and NOBODY at Samsung or Best Buy cares. Hey, How about a software update......Other manufacturers have the light come on when system is turned on..Otherwise...Very nice picture...

screen size fits our small family room w/o taking over the room. Picture, sound quality are very good and we are still learning all of the features. Excellent choice and Brian - our sales associate was a wealth of information helping us to make an informed decision on this purchase.

This is a low end 4K TV, but still 4K. When I compared it to the plasma that I replaced it with, it was a noticeable improvement. I do wish I went with a larger size, but that is for me. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that although it is better, it is not as good as the display they show in stores.

The picture quality on this TV is excellent and it's 4k for under $450.00. I was looking for a 40 inch and Samsung has been making great cell phones so I decided that I'd try them in a TV. I'm glad I did. I'm an avid NFL'er and with my TV package and this TV I'm in TV heaven!!

The TV has accurate colors, a decent viewing angle, an effective auto motion plus option, and a great picture even when not viewing in 4K. Smart platform is pretty straight forward and easy to use as well. Best of all, this is a great gaming TV that handles motion really well.

The Samsung 40" UHD Smart TV that I bought in BestBuy is perfect for my bedroom armoire with clear crisp picture and strong wifi reception allowing me to stream even though my bedroom is in the opposite side of my 4 bedroom house. And the price that I got it is unbeatable.

This new TV was on sale at an excellent price, is light weight enough for me to handle, was very easy to set-up, and has worked well. It has very good picture and sound. I'm looking forward to use the Smart features when I get around to setting-up the Smart functions.
