I am so far loving this tv. It was easy to put together and the picture is great. The menu is easy to navigate, as is adding apps. I had an issue about a week in (it wasn't connecting to my wifi) so called Samsung. They talked me through it over the phone - so good customer service too!

Samsung is about the best TV I have owned. I have purchased one for each room in home, all are 4k. Very easy set up and simple to use. I would recommend to anyone. I just purchased this TV, but own a 55 inch 4k and another 40 inch 4k, both work flawless in the 3 yrs I have owned them. Before the 4k came out, I own a 40 inch 1080/120 TV and picture on that was great for its time. I do not recommend the 60 refresh rate, the picture looks too blurry for my taste.

Picture: excellent ... Sound: good ... Ease of set-up: good. The only negative is the set's inability to connect to wifi and HOLD the signal; the connection would last maybe 10 minutes and then be lost. The set is located in the same room as my dual band router/modem. After 2 calls to Comcast and 4 to Samsung it was determined that Samsung smart TV's work best on 2.4 GHz and mine was drawing 5.0 GHz because of its proximity to the router/modem. I have 2 other Samsung smart TV's located in other rooms and have no issues with wifi connectivity. After allowing Samsung service to take over "remote" access to the set and perform various unsuccessful fixes and updates I considered exchanging and starting over with a new set. However, I solved my problem by going to Walmart and purchasing a CAT 6 cable and hard-wiring. Netflix, Prime, etc now connect effortlessly with lightening speed. As of now I'm completely happy. Purchased the set on sale for $329 ... excellent TV for the price.

I bought this TV when my cable provider decided to go 100% digital, forcing me to either pay them an extra monthly fee to rent a digital receiver or upgrade to a Smart TV--- And I chose the later. I now watch TV via the free Spectrum app, and access other movies and shows via the Prime Video and Hulu apps (using my exiting accounts). And I have no complaints; I'm very happy with my new Smart TV. NOTE: My cable provider later mentioned that a Roku device would have also given me access to the digital network via the Spectrum App, but I'm still happy to have upgraded from a 21" to a 40" TV.

I love to hate Samsung now this set has potential but has a lot of Bugs! The tv needs to be unplug a lot to fix a issue with the video not going into UHD mode! The app banner takes up the lower 2/3 of the screen and can’t be turned off! This is why I don’t buy Samsung tablets they think they know what you want and make sure you don’t miss it! You can’t just turn this tv on and watch it you have to make sure it’s happy and wait for the app GUI to go away or force it to! The only thing I like about the tb is the price, the picture quality (when it works) and it’s weight because I needed a new tv for my RV and space is premium in RV’s most TVs are 24” or less In campers those smaller sets (brand name) are getting rare! I think this maybe my last Samsung tv since they have ruined the experience!

Wow. I am very impressed. I have tried TV's as monitors before over the years with mixed mostly bad results. This TV works as a great monitor for much less money than a traditional monitor. I am a semi-pro photographer...not my main job but I have sold hundreds of photos using just a 10 year old 1080p monitor. I really don't see the need of an overpriced traditional small ips monitor without sound for most people. This TV has HDMi 2.0 supporting UHD (50/60P 4:4:4 and 4:2:2) signals. Windows 10 looks great. Photoshop and Lightroom look great. In order to make this an amazing PC monitor do the following......In the settings menu go to General then External Device Manger then HDMI UHD Color and turn it on. There are massive other settings you can adjust to your own liking.

We have always purchased Samsung TVs and love them. This one is no exception. Great picture and amazing sound for a TV without a separate sound bar. This is our first Smart TV and we love it. We were able to install many Apps without any problem. Very easy to use.

This Samsung smart television is perfectly amazing as a replacement for my slightly smaller 32" TV; The bigger screen (a major factor in my purchasing decision) makes it easier to see what I'm watching more clearly- and speaking of, the picture is significantly more sharp and crisp and clear than what I had before [within reason for applicable content]. I love the style of it and the Samsung UI is fairly intuitive once you become adjusted to it. This works great for a bigger personal television to play high-quality games on or also to watch HDTV programs on, and could be a good fit for a moderate living room entertainment center. [forewarning: if you wish to wall-mount this item, you will need four M8 x 45" VESA screws.]

Love this TV. Good sound, good picture, easy set up. Only con - I really like a pedestal stand better. This set has two sets of legs about 30 inches apart and it sets up high. You either need a sound bar in front or do some cord management behind the set.

Replaced a 720P 37" LCD TV for the master bedroom from 10+ years ago. Obviously an upgrade from the previous TV. This TV is also significantly slim and light. I was able to wall mount it myself without any help. The wall mount used was slim. Another great feature is the included APP that provides free channels. Although they are not network channels, it is free and is on a menu to simulate having cable TV. Due to the lower part of the back of the TV protruding out, the wall mount brackets stuck out on the top of the TV. None of the washers/spacers included in the wall mount kit provided enough clearance so I had to purchase spacers from a hardware store.

The images look like they're life like ready to come right off the screen. Beautiful color & detail. Easy set up. Only had since Superbowl but satisfied so far. Don't use the Smart TV feature no Wi-Fi.

Super easy setup and great picture. Very vivid and the colors are brilliant. I had to turn off the auto motion icon because the picture was jerky at times. After I did that it was perfect. Great TV !!!

This is a great mid-range LED TV. Picture quality is excellent once you calibrate settings. However, to appreciate 4k/2160p you need to be a few feet from it. Any video content should be fine. I recommend disabling the "Auto Motion Plus" feature as it looks unnatural. Unable to comment on HDR quality. UI leaves a bit to be desired, and lots of useless apps come included, but you can avoid them. Remote could be better, as the navigation buttons are small and cramped. But, for the price, focus on picture quality is a reasonable trade-off.

Easy to install & operate. Beautiful picture & sound. I purchased it as a surprise for my husband... SUCCESS! Truly with the cost, which was also lower than other stores. Great value.

This TV was for my daughter's small apartment. It fit into her small space but it is still large enough to get great viewing. The definition is really good. Aso super easy to set up.

Great TV. Has a great picture and the smart features are really fast. I really enjoy the sound as well. I live in a small apartment and it's the perfect size for our living room.

I was looking for a TV to fit an older style giant entertainment cabinet that we own. I had a very large tube TV in the cabinet and wanted to upgrade it to a smart TV but I was limited on the space I had in the cabinet. This TV fit perfectly in the 40 inch wide space I had. I also like how easy the TV was to setup. The picture quality is awesome and the smartphone app opens up a lot of uses for the TV that I didn't have with the old style tube TV. I can now cast my YouTube videos to the TV, I can also do a s reen mirror and show pictures and videos I have taken on my phone on the screen. (I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 + smart phone.)

This Samsung 40" TV was exactly what I needed to be able to fit inside the entertainment center. Beautiful sharp picture, great sound. I had planned to purchase a small sound bar for this TV but the sound is perfect for my small condo so it wasn't necessary. Very easy to set up Netflix and Amazon. I long ago cancelled my cable TV and I just have an external antenna. With same antenna as my old TV I can new receive almost double the number of over the air stations (not sure why, but I do). If you are looking for a smaller TV, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I am a huge fan of Samsung in regards to their TV’s and this one did not disappoint. Easy set up and light weight where easily done by one person. Great picture.
