I am very happy with this 4k TV. I bought this as an upgrade from a 32 inch Samsung 1080p TV, and I am very happy with it. I cannot really speak to the smart features of the TV, as I do most of my streaming through a 4k Blu Ray player and a PS4. But I think the picture quality is great. The only downside is that the TV only plays at 60 HZ despite being advertised as 120. I was told at the Best Buy store when I bought it that only TVs 50 inches and larger play at that refresh rate. So I knew what I was getting before I bought it. But for the price, this is a great TV.

We bought this when our old TV died. Pic is great, setup is quick and nice light weight for mounting on wall. Very pleased with this purchase.

Tv was easy to connect to the cable box. Light weight for lifting and placing in area above the fireplace. Great picture quality.

This is a 7 series Samsung set. Setup is very easy and straightforward. Not super fancy but it is 4K and has HDR. Diagonal is barely under 40 inches. Brightness is still good at side angles you would not want to view from. Bottom depth is 2.5 inches and top is less than an inch. Very satisfactory for wall mount. Refresh is 120 so motion blur is not bad. Automatically IDs media server if you have one on your network. Also USB to view content from external devices. Audio is not great but after all it is a slender TV. If sound is important get some external speakers and connect to the SPD/F optical output.

Impressive TV and easy set up. Navigating through "settings" is simple and "prompts" are very helpful. I would like to see some on screen graphics improved. "Clock" on screen is so small as to be virtually unreadable, and it doesn't make sense to me why the display of the channel being watched is so much smaller than the numbers of the previous and next channels. Otherwise incredible picture and great color! Really enjoy having the program guide for antenna broadcast channels.

I purchased this Samsung 40 inch tv for my Moms bedroom. Perfect size. Easy to set up. Great price. Great picture.

After months of shopping for a better picture with being limited to a 39 inch tv size, they are only 1080p and the feedback was not that great. I was glad I waited for the improved NU7100, it's 40 inch with 2160p which worked well for me. The speakers are much better than the earlier models and the picture is outrageous. Yes, there is newer technology but for the smaller picture size this is the best you can get right now, and I caught it on a holiday sale.

I was glad to find this product since it was the largest that would fit in our entertainment center. The product works great with a clear and well defined picture, fine sound and great features. As it is our first smart TV, we are very pleased to have internet program options now. The price was great. I found shopping on line to be straight forward and the staff was very helpful and efficient when I went into the store to pick it up. We couldn't be more pleased and hope this TV lasts as least as long a the 9-year old Samsung that it replaced.

The samsung 40 inch TV fits perfectly in our living room, has amazing color/picture and is easy to operate!

Bought this TV to replace Panasonic TV for my RV. Picture quality is great. TV is so lightweight, I can't believe it! Only glitch was getting code for my Dish Network remote. Also, took awhile to figure out menus for this "smart" TV. Would recommend. The 4 star rating is for the learning curve & having to Google how to do certain things.

This would have gotten 5 stars if the feet were better designed. As it is, the darn thing leans like crazy - and although wall mounts were included, this location is missing a suitable wall. TV setup was fast, easy and reasonably trouble free....never did get the microphone in the remote to work, and honestly doubt it's operational BUT workarounds were simple. No problems with the FIRE WiFi connection....and the picture is phenomenally good. I might buy another for downstairs.

I bought this after my computer monitor died. This smart TV works great as both a monitor and as a TV. Really easy to switch back and forth between the two functions. And as it's 40 inches, can take wireless mouse and keyboard and sit comfortably at a distance and still work.

Color is excellent, easy to use, size is just right, not too big, not too small.

Really good, reliable TV especially for the price. Lightweight and easy to attach the legs to stand on entertainment center. Gave it four stars instead of five because the brightness looks extra bright when screen is viewed from an angle. I also couldn't get the color just quite right. Bought this TV to replace a SONY 40", which only lasted three years. The color and distinct picture was better and sharper on the SONY, but was double the price! My other Samsung TV, an older model and also 40", is still going strong after almost 6 years. Samsung is more dependable.

Good size for the room I bought it for, nice clear, crisp picture, easy to operate and light weight, compatible with the sound bar that I bought last year.
