Needed a reasonable sized TV for my RV as most TVs are getting too big, great picture and a ton of features for under 400$

Got this TV for my dad, he just loves it.. always talking about how awesome the picture is.. plus the fact that is a smart tv.. does not hurt at all. Highly recommended

First off, I bought this to use on a covered patio... I know, it isn't really meant for outdoor use, but I couldn't see myself spending 2k+ on a Sunbrite...I figured it would be more economical to just replace this one every few years. I am on my second of these, the first ended up with a bug behind the screen. I'm not sure how this might have happened, as the screens are claimed to be vacuum sealed. Googling this issue shows that it does occasionally happen, but good luck getting any warranty help from Samsung (you might get help if you complain long/loud enough) and Best Buy said that since it was not meant for outdoor use, that their warranty service would not cover it either (despite being told when buying the TV that all I would need to worry about was "direct water damage"). I give my local Best Buy credit for taking care of me anyway. The Geek Squad guy who came to my house to inspect the TV told me to call the manager of the store I bought this from, and the store manager was quick to take care of me by replacing the TV. Some people don't like the big box stores, but when you need immediate help, Best Buy has always done right by me. As for the TV itself, it gets the job done. I have three other Samsung TV's, this is the only 1080p TV and is older than some of the others. The menu interface remains the same, but there are fewer features. That said, for the purpose that we're using it, the TV is great, I just hope no more flies manage to get behind the screen.

Works how it's supposed to, good picture, sound is fine, setup was simple. Used in the family room to just watch TV.
