All good except for sound

This was a replacement for a 3 year old 40 inch that I was very happy with except I accidentally caused it to fall and break. This replacement is very similar, but the sound quality is TERRIBLE. I don’t know what Samsung did to their speakers, but my tv sounded like a 1970’s transistor radio. I still have a 6-7 year old Samsung in another room and the sound is great. I cannot believe Samsung has reduced their speaker quality so dramatically. It wasn’t worth searching for another tv, so I got (for another $200 or so) a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer combo that connected easily and work well. But, the sound-WITH the speaker—is now what my old tv (but still only three yrs old) sounded like without speakers. Buyer beware if you like decent sound from your tv and don’t want voices through a tin can and don’t want to spend extra money for separate speakers.
