      I am very sorry to see that your screen exhibited damage upon opening and setup. Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, damage could have been done.

    Bottom brackets

    The mounts at the bottom stand are glitchy and the back left of the TV has separated from the weight on the mount. They don’t fit in the same direction, so the TV mount is crooked and wants to fall

    Red Dots on my Samsung TV Screen

    The Samsung 43" Class 7 TV I purchased at BestBuy.com has a defective screen. I just realized these 3 red dots at the center of the screen and it's too late for me to exchange the TV since my exchange period already lapsed last week. I'm not sure how this passed the Quality Control of Samsung and Best Buy.

    Too dark, interface lag, etc....

    -with respect to bestbuy- This is a horrible model from Samsung. Way too dark with all brightnesses on max, the interface lags, as well as the screen randomly flickering until I factory reset. The last model was so much better.

      I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your TU7000 TV. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark, try adjusting the following settings

      You can try Dynamic Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic

      Or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking.
      Go to Home> Settings> Picture> Expert Settings> Brightness

      You may also want to adjust the Contrast, Sharpness, Color, or Tint (G/R) in the Expert Settings.

      We also recommend that you adjust the settings of your Power Saving Mode.
      Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

      To address your lagging and flickering issues, you may want to optimize the smart TV performance by trying the Device Care option under the Support Menu.

    TVs smart hub is by far the worse of all Samsung TVs I've purchased. I have to do hard resets on the TV every other day just to be able to watch TV. Tvs constantly lose internet connection.

    Complete junk. Went dark after less than a year. Got this TV in December. Less than a year later it went dark while watching it. I guess the only good parts is it went dead in less than a year so it’s still under warranty. Junk

    I saw others' reviews about the green color screen issue but ignore it. I think it might be just some occasional defective product until I got my TV today, I got the same issue when I first turn on the TV. I wish I could have this luck on the Mega or Power ball. Return this product right away.

    The tv is defective. Lines, horizontal & vertical, started showing up intermittently on right side and now permanently I can see the picture through them but tv is not returnable. I have the 2 year Geek Squad so I will try to get it repaired.

    This tv had alot of connection problems at setup. Picture is clear unroll a single black line appeared across whole screen, now single line turned into double black line. I have always owned Samsung TV's and this is the worst in 10 years. Product only 5 months old.

    There is absolutely no warning label stating not to touch the film on TV. Once the film is disturbed the TV is garbage has to be thrown away.

      1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections.

      2. If the issue persists, define precisely what is wrong with the display.

      3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception.

    Buy this. I got the 43" because the legs fit on the dresser. I was concerned about the quality of the picture due to the low price. The tv exceeded my expectations. I picture is awesome. A few things to consider: small buttons on the remote, also remote does not light up. For the price, I was willing to deal with the small buttons etc. The sound is great. I have the air conditioner on, living in Florida, and can hear the tv fine. I really only need to put it on 10, but the sound goes up past 43. Also samsung tv plus. Has CNN, FOX, ABC. Also free channels (Samsung tv plus) FREE. I have Best Buy Total Tech. Like $200 a year. They cam to my house (free), set up the t.v. and explained any questions you had. Took away my old tv for FREE, I'm on the second floor. And the box and packing material. I worried about how do I get the tv out of my apt. who can help me carry it. Where do I take it? Can I set up the t.v. Also, can I figure out the apps. How do I use the controller? All these things were provided for me for free. I didn't need help with anything. Great for people who are afraid of the things I listed. I am writing this review because I hope it will be useful for those considering what tv to buy. I am thinking of ordering another one for the livingroom. The remote has many settings to adjust many things. BTW, the sleep mode is not easy. You need to press 3 buttons to get it working. Not so great if your room is dark (can see controller buttons). The max time is 180. I think that is sufficient for night time.
