It looks a bit washed out unless you're sitting right in front of it. Controls are NOT intuitive at all. With no instruction book, it's trial and error. Got an email from Best Buy a day after I bought it with instruction on how to put it together. Only buy this if you want a good value & you don't care if you don't get the best.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 4K Smart TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your TV’s picture. There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings.
Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

I had to fiddle with the color settings because right out of the box, the color was too warm. But I googled color corrections for this model and now it's great! I can connect my bluetooth earbuds to it very easily and the TV remembers them! It has a sleep timer, a great selection of apps including HBO Max. Would heartily recommend this TV. Only 4 stars bc of having to google color settings.
