The young lady who waited on me was very nice and very thorough. The TV was delivered on the correct date, set up and well checked before the young man left. All in all, it was a very good experience. Plus, I love the TV. Thank you.

However black levels are not as dark as they could be and there is some light bleed noticable in dark pictures. I plan on exchanging to see if mine was just poor manufacturing.

I’m all about the thin, dark bezel and the stand. Tizen is complete garbage and loading times are brutal. I went into the purchase knowing it would suck, so I have an Apple TV to run the apps. Overall, it’s a really nice TV.

Does it work like a set of earbuds? No. Reconstructive surgery required. Does it work like a TV. Yes. Should have used it like a TV in the first place and I would still have ears. Seriously, good looking TV, Smart features are easy to use. I like it.

So, with that established, Quite a learning curve for most anyone in my opinion. I'm pretty sure the Samsung 8 app will sate my curiosity. Enjoy using phone for remote as supplied remote is very cheap(vol/channel/) barely worthwhile. So far, I have not found how to get picture to show any quality past my 2002 Panasonic picture. The OTA antenna I am using is surprisingly good and TV just synced beautifully. streaming channels very easy to sync. I've yet to hook up DVD which I look forward.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 4K Smart TV and for your review. There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings.
Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

It's ok for that use case but since it's not an IPS, you will see the edges looking a little off. She doesn't mind it though so it's OK for us. I recommend an IPS TV (like an LG) or an OLED if your serious about TV as a monitor.

Good image. Lots of options. Excellent built-in streaming Ability for many streaming services. BUT... much like Samsung has forced its phone users to see Ads everywhere, they have done the same with their TV app. SAMSUNG, STOP THE ADS!! I already bought the TV. Why am I seeing ads every time I want to switch from HDMI to Netflix?!
