The colors, dynamic range, and motion display are just as good. As a bonus, it uses about 30% of the power of the plasma. Big energy savings.

If you don't plan on using this TV in the dark, it is excellent! Unfortunately, there is no local dimming on the Q60 units so all of the blacks are a dark grey when watching at night and it's very distracting. There was very little light bleed with excellent uniformity but the black levels were a dealbreaker for me and I ended up returning it for a Vizio M Series (M558) with excellent black levels.

I wanted a QLED, and didn’t want to break the bank. This was a smart option. I only using it for streaming, and the occasional blu-ray. I’m happy with it.
