If you mostly watch TV shows, it might be fine because generally TV shows are overly bright but I mostly watch movies and they have a lot of darker scenes. The shadows and darker areas on this TV pretty much suck. It can be hard to see what's happening and everything looks muddy/hazy. I wish I spent a bit more money and got an Oled or a better back lit Q-led.

Had to contact customer support to figure a couple things out, they helped so that’s good. Biggest issue for me is the limited apps available. I bought a Smart TV with limitations on its smartness. I Am very disappointed with their selection of apps. You can’t get some very popular sports and news apps. Hope some future updates will offer more apps.

It’s brighter and crisper but that’s because sharpness is artificially enhanced creating a thin white outline around objects when looking closely. The blacks are very washed out dark gray. Very unexpected given that it’s a QLED. Looks good, pretty easy to use and very good as a PC monitor. Nice extra features of Bluetooth and airplay. But cannot recommends compared to the latest TCL.

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TV I purchased was perfect for about a week then after that the voice activation on the controller which is the Mike symbol activates on his own on the TV screen interrupting your movie and what you’re watching on your TV I have to turn this one in and hopefully get another one by geek squad. Because Best Buy’s return policy is over I have to do it through geek squad they are the ones covering my TV for two year plan
