I really like the Samsung version of "Smart" Tv and since this replaced one I already knew my way around the settings. There are reviews that complain about not being able to get the picture setup/adjusted to their satisfaction....I say maybe you should go back to your CRT based TV...please if you can't figure it out don't blame Samsung. Pleased about buy it again.

It replaced a 32 inch Sony that I moved to another bedroom so that I can have a bigger and better picture while on my treadmill. This one fills the wall space and puts you right in the middle of the action! As with all thin TVs the speakers could be better but I solved that with a sound bar. The picture is phenomenal though, very clear and beautiful color. I'm very happy with my purchase.

However, I found out that my new tv likes to crackle and make strange noises. I researched and found I’m not the only one. It’s not constant but it’s there and it might be an issue for some. An intuitive remote and menu and stunning picture and sound is enough for me to over look this issue.

It does a great job at upscaling the pictures to near 4k. The sound is wonderful also. This is a good buy in my opinion.

I have and Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, and a Nintendo Switch and they look amazing on this TV also movies and TV shows look so good.

The Samsung is a vast improvement and very easy to see in almost any situation. The picture is very sharp with good color rendition.

My main complaint is the remote control. Its so small, thin..its easily lost, falls under things, can not find it quickly. The bottom of the remote control is curved, or not flat..so it slides off surfaces..ie to the floor. Very few buttons, hassle, multiple steps or clicks to just change the channel or volume. Whatever happened to simply pressing “on”, TV returns to last channel, i can point and either press up or down on channel arrow, or arrow up, down the volume? Takes forever to accomplish your desire, missing something on the show. Crispness of picture doesn't seem as good as my old Samsung LCD that i had for yrs either. I keep trying to readjust the picture. I never had to do this with the previous LCD Samsung. It was good whatever i watched, no adjusting was done. I will probably buy a universal remote to use with this TV

If you are having issues with video blur or ghosting, the Q60R features Auto Motion Plus to optimize motion image quality.
You can adjust Auto Motion Plus settings by following these steps:
1) With the TV powered on, press the Home button on the Samsung remote to open the Home screen
2) Then select Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Auto Motion Plus Settings
3) Then you will see the following three options:
a) Off: Auto Motion Plus will always be off
b) Auto: Auto Motion Plus will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
c) Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used
4) By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings:
a) Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting
b) Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting
c) LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off
Several preset picture modes are also available for easily optimizing your viewing experience:
1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
2) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
4) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.

Bright Picture

This TV has such a bright picture that it is not drowned out by the window light. All of the features are easy to access and the TV practically set itself up when it correctly identified all the connected devices and just made them all work with this TV.

I must say the picture is amazing not just for movies and shows, but especially gaming on my Xbox one X. Has all the great smart TV apps and I absolutely love the voice command on the remote, makes searching for anything a lot faster! Highly recommend this TV!
