Great picture quality. Has good amount of apps and features and has been easy to use. Remote control is minimal style, but actually works pretty good.

I like the picture but I do wish the legs were closer together or a center stand. Speakers are acceptable. The only problem I have had is sometimes I turn tv off and it turns itself back on, whats up with that?

My husband uses our tv as an extra computer monitor, so when our 42” faded to dim (from overuse, I guess), we decided to replace it with a slightly larger screen - 48” - It was easy to set up and hook to the computer for streaming. The speakers in the tv itself have great sound quality, but my husband was also able to have the sound project through his speakers. The picture is vibrant and clear, and we are hoping this tv lasts longer than our other. Samsung has a good reputation, and we paid a little more to get the latest technology.

Excellent experience with the TV so far. Picture quality is wonderful as the colors and dynamic range are fully flexed in the product. The speakers are great considering the product focuses on image quality. You don't need a soundbar unless you are an absolute audiophile or you like to spend money for the thought of an expensive system. The remote controller is beautiful and easy to use and the navigation menu is simple enough for my parents to understand.

The 7 Series Samsungs have some issues with refresh rate and clarity of moving picture, particularly with sports, so we decided to try the 8 Series. As we hoped, it was a great decision as the picture really shows off the effect of 4K UHD for the programming that offers that capability. For all other HD programming, this is where the TV really separates itself from the 7 Series. The color and sharpness of picture is another level. I highly recommend this product.

Samsung picture is excellent! The set up was super easy and the price of this tv is very fair. Quality tv.

I purchased this 49” TV a few weeks ago when it was on sale and am still in awe of the picture and features. I continually find myself mouthing ‘wow!’ when I’m watching TV. This TV replaced my old 15yr old Panasonic LCD TV and there is a huge difference in picture. This TV weighs a lot less than my old LCD. It was super easy to set up as well. I love this TV! I love it so much I purchased a sound bar that matched the tech of this TV.

Very pleased with the TV. I have other Samsung TV's and have been satisfied with their performance. Very easy to set up and smart enough to recognize other peripherals I added. Only negative item I can think of is that the feet are a bit small. While they look nice and streamlined I'd prefer something more substantial when setting on a table or console.

Absolutely love the Samsung TV. The color and clarity is amazing even when watching movies/shows with dark scenes. I researched this Tv prior to purchasing it in store. When I got to Best Buy a salesperson persuaded me to purchase a Sony 900 tv because he spoke negatively about Samsung so I purchased the Sony Tv. Went through the hassle of setting up the Sony Tv and within 15 minutes of watching a movie I regretted the purchase. The Sony tv was horrible... I was watching Beauty and the Beast and during the dark scenes you could not make anything out. The tv literally gave me motion sickness. So back to Best Buy to return the Sony and purchase the Samsung. I’m completely satisfied with this purchase. I watched Beauty and the Beast again and am amazed on the vivid colors during the scenes and the Samsung adjusts during the dark scenes so the vivid detail is not lost. I turned off motion sense but only because of my horrible experience with the Sony tv.

I gave this as a gift to my in-laws. I needed a smart TV that supports NetFlix and was easy enough for tech-illiterate octogenarians to use comfortably. The ability to remove unneeded items from the main menu is a big plus. The sound is sufficient to fill the room -- no hearing aids required. The picture quality is excellent.

Samsung is a solid, trustworthy brand and Best Buy offered the Best price. I bought this smart TV for my 87 year young step mom. This tv provides a crisp, clear picture and is very easy for her to use. We will probably add a sound bar to enhance the audio at some point. I had the Geek squad mount, install and setup the 49" TV. They were very professional, kind and cleaned up afterwards. Thank you Best Buy!

I mounted this on wall in a bedroom. Fantastic TV for the price or even a higher price. Great picture, easy to make adjustments to suit your desire. Very easy to set up. Sound is more than adequate for a bedroom. Easy to pair air pods through bluetooth. Everything just works right. Overall very satisfied.

Love the upgrade on our TV, easy setup. Great picture, just wish it was a little brighter. My den has a lot of light and have it set to the brightest setting, but I would like a bit more. The apps are very nice and have been using them often during the virus lockdown, so we have been giving it a workout. Will definitely buy a Samsung again when the next TV needs replacing.

This was my first Samsang TV and I am glad I made the decision to purchase. The set up was easy and the directions are clear. The picture quality is top notch. My husband and I had to adjust the light in the settings and can say that this is a worthwhile investment. We were able to download Roku channel as well as pureflix. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice TV, setup was a breeze. I like the design, simplicity, and feel of the remote, but it could really use a couple more features. There is no MUTE button, and a backlight would be awesome. The setup automatically detected my DirecTV, DVD player, and Roku box (which I no longer need with this TV). The picture quality is really great on this TV.

This TV is a no brained if it’s in your budget. It delivers superior tech compared to its price tag. The HDR is beautiful but it is very dim in a light room it’s great for movie nights. The sound is great and loud. I prefer the optimized sound setting. The only thing I struggle with on this tv is getting the brightness to a preferred level. It handles motion excellently. Gaming has very low lag.

I have no idea what "UHD TV" means but have enjoyed this 4K TV which replaced a 720p LCD HDTV which I purchased from Best Buy 13 years ago. That model was a Samsung before there were apps installed but it worked brilliantly with a Google Chrome stick and served me very well--but it used a tremendous amount of electricity and the screen was warm to the touch. The Samsung 49" Class 8 LED 4K UHD Smart TV (this product) is a significant step up. It's very slim and has all the ports I need (several HDMI inputs, coax, USB, ethernet, and digital audio out, and some legacy ports for older accessories) The voice operated remote, free channels via Samsung Apps, and a very good receiver made it a worthwhile investment. The slim look and narrow bezel provides more picture for the space it occupies (my older model had a bezel about 2" wide) and the brightness and clarity of the screen is excellent. On occasion an app does freeze up (only reason I can't give all perfect scores) and I need to power off/on the TV but overall it's a great choice--the price point and size is perfect for a living room TV.

This is a replacement for an older model Samsung tv that received a power surge during a storm. It took some looking but we finally were able to find one to fit our space and still have the smart remote with voice command. Several other Samsung tv’s have that big bulky remote. Samsung picture and sound quality are still excellent!

This replaces another Samsung 49" that was fried by a lightning strike. It works great and looks great. One minor complaint is the stand - it is 2 legged and sits something like 35" wide. That was wider than my TV stand so I had to purchase a 3rd party center base stand for $30, but that works great with this TV.
