I've waited to review this TV for about a year since I purchased it to use with the Xbox One X, and I haven't had any problems with the TV. It looks very smooth during movies and gaming, has a sleek design with hardly a bezel around the screen, and has a surprisingly fast interface.

We have a very large Den and needed a large TV that could bring a great HD picture. This TV does not disappoint. It is also a smart TV so we can stream apps directly through the TV and even the sound does a great job of filling up a large great room.....Great purchase.

So far the best quality images in a TV. We both it for our bedroom and we are so happy for the purchase.

Picture and design are flawless- pricing at B.B. was incredible- I’m happy that I purchased the smaller but higher end 8 series, I have a 65” UHD Samsung 65 series and although it’s a great TV - you can tell night and day the difference in quality and craftsmanship between the two.

Perfect size, beautiful picture. Replaced 42" Samsung that was 8 years old. We like the Samsung brand.

Great TV, excellent pic, controls and hook up. The only thing that I wish was better was the volume.

Looks good and has a great pic... Love the separate hub, makes it easier to hid cords. Great value. 2 issues, minor.. The controller size is small and easy to misplace especially if you got little ones that grab and go. Major : every once in awhile I get white flashes (almost like a camera flash) across the screen.. A bit different of concern.. I did get the extended warranty and that's something to consider.

Bought this to replace my 10-year-old Samsung 52" 1080P LCD display which was about 5" thick and had a massive 3" black plastic border around the entire screen. Right out of the box, it was apparent that my new Samsung 49" Class MU8000 4K UHD TV (UN49MU8000FXZA) was going to look better in my smallish (200 sq. ft.) TV room: there is very little border around the display and the silver feet (with integrated cable routing) look classy. This is one of the Samsung displays that uses an external connections box, so the only cables I ran to the TV are the power cable and the One Connect cable. Setup was a breeze and the monitor was up and running in under 5 minutes. I've owned it for under a month now and have watched all kind of content on it (BD to streaming services) with next to no adjustments or calibration. The picture quality on this display is outstanding: deep blacks and rich colors without being too saturated or overpowering. I am really looking forward to a long life with this gorgeous monitor!

Setup was easy. Like it did most of the work for you. Picture is very nice. Shopping experience at the Holyoke location was great. People were knowledgeable and nice and cooperative.
