It is really worth the extra money to get this 8000 series TV. Not only are the precisely detailed picture, brilliant colors and deep blacks great to watch, the idea of putting all the inputs and outputs in an external box rather than on the back of the TV is a genius move! The ability to use the TV as an internet browser or as a remote screen for a PC, wired or wireless, is also a fantastic feature. I'm really happy with my purchase decision.

This TV has a sleek design, is very light, was extremely easy to set up and has amazing resolution.

TV purchased from Best Buy 7 years ago suddenly went dark. In order to have it looked at with no guarantees as to final cost, we decided to get a new TV. Of course none were on sale so we finally decided on the Samsung 49 in flat screen TV. Delivery and set up wouldn't be for 4 days so we had it loaded up and took it home. We installed it ourselves and had a couple of questions which we called Samsung and they were answered. The TV is crisp with great colors and we are happy with it. I am surprised that your customer service isn't better and that delivery and set up can't be done within 24 hours. Other than that we are happy.

I love samsung. This was an excellent tv. Ease of use and netflix and amazon and roku. Sound quality excellent. No need for any other sound devices. Unfortunately we moved long distance and it broke. We replaced it with a 55". The quality picture didnt seem as good which didnt make sense. So I adjusted the picture and it's as nice as the 49". Love these TVs. EXCELLENT!

I bought two of these TVs to replace my old ones. I have been watching for sale deals that seem the best lowest cost for this TV. I'm not a High-Tech needy person, but this tv was easy-peasy to install and use. It has the "One Connect" box that makes it simple to plug in all devices by HDMI and it runs through a device detection to add all your devices then your done. In addition, it runs Wi-Fi also.

This TV is a great value for the money. Sure it has some limitations such as having only 2 HDMI ports, no bluetooth, and no smart remote compared to its big brother. However, it is a solid buy for those looking for a basic 49" HDTV with good picture quality for a good price. If you need anything beyond that then look elsewhere.

Got mine for $500 during a sale. Great TV for that price. Sharp clear picture. Better sound than my old Visio. Haven't encountered the advertisement announcement problem others have reported. The but part: don't really see a difference in picture quality between this and my old HD Visio in my living room at a normal viewing distance. Prefer Roku for the smart part, especially Rokus ESPN app.
