Good performance 4K but troublesome setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This 8 series has good specs and performance but its weakness is in the "too smart" setup process. My Denon receiver was identified as an Apple TV. Another video converter it could not identify and would not connect through HDMI. That same converter worked fine with a 7 series TV. The process to edit the automatic device identification is not well documented but it can be done if you do not give up. Would give it 5 stars if not for the setup process.

House full of Samsung
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's official now. I had 3 Samsung 4K TVs, and one LG 4K. My LG died after about 14 months, so I replaced it with this Samsung. Better apps, and better TV. That was the second LG I had die on me.
