This is, without a doubt, the best monitor I’ve ever seen or used in my life. The Samsung 49” Odyssey OLED G9 (G93SD) is absolutely perfect – the image quality, the ultra-wide display, the 240Hz refresh rate, the stunning OLED clarity… it’s simply mind-blowing! I highly recommend it to anyone who has the privilege of experiencing it. Whether you’re a gamer, content creator, or professional – this monitor will transform the way you work and play. And a special thank you to Best Buy for extending my credit limit and making the financing possible. This was the best purchase I’ve ever made, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity. If you’re thinking about it – go for it. You won’t regret it. This monitor is perfect and fantastic in every way!

First off, I have never had a 49" screen. I have always used a quad setup to get the "real estate" that I needed. That being said I will never go back to a quad! I have a 34" above for all other contant "streaming services, discord, etc." The 49" has a wonderful screen and the setup was very easy for me to use. Great color and the referesh rate is not to bad. The PnP is nice as well! For just a bit above 1k , I don't think there is another monitor on the market that can beat the quality of this! The G93SD has worked very well with my 4080 gaming laptop. Especially when paired with a racing wheel set, the curvature and sheer width is very immersive. The SD models improve upon the previous year’s SC models with an improved anti-gloss display as well as a longer warranty period of 3 years as opposed to 1 year. Moreover, the G93 does not come with the sometimes cumbersome Smart TV features of the more expensive G95 models. (That’s savings for your pocket!) While integrated TV softwares do have their share of upsides, many models that include them have reported not only glitches with the operating system, but possible serious overheating. My only protest is that the provided stand likes to wiggle with ease, consider purchasing a Vesa mount for the desk or wall if this is a concern for you.

I went from a dual monitor setup to this and its a night and day difference it productivity and ease of use. No more lag between monitors or wondering where your curser is. If you think this is only for gaming you’re wrong - this monitor allows me to look at plans at scale and not need to constantly change zoom settings - while trasking my takeoff on the same scrreen using the magnet app.

I just recently bought this monitor and I love it, this is my first curved monitor and I was a little worried. I wouldn't get used to the curve, but after about a week the curve isn't a problem at all. I will say one downside to this monitor is watching YouTube or anything else, because YouTube or any other streaming services don't support ultra wide monitors. So it windows it into the center of the monitor, making your 49" into more of a 22" monitor. Some games might also do this but I haven't played one yet.

I have loveeeed my monitor since I got it back in June 2025. I stalked it until I found one for a little cheaper via open-box as I am building my streaming gamer situation at home. This monitor is a big part of my setup and also fits perfectly into my work life. This 49 inch screen holds unlimited windows for me to have easily available as I go about my work day. Primarily used for casual use and work/productivity. I went from a double 27" set up to this. I have been enjoying the transition so far. This is early in the ownership phase so I can not review the longevity but it is a very nice monitor and would recommend it if you are looking for a nice ultrawide. I am not much of a gamer so I can not review that type of usage, although I would not mind trying to game on this, looks like it would be amazing! just 4 stars for now since it to early to award it a 5 star award.

Been enjoying this monitor for a few weeks now. No issues at all. Colors are incredible and the refesh rate is super smooth. Best ultrawide out there imo.

This monitor is absolutely perfect. Ever since I got it, my daily routine has completely changed for the better. I can work much faster and more efficiently, and the image quality is outstanding in every situation. Whether I’m working or gaming, everything looks incredibly sharp, smooth, and immersive. Games look amazing, and productivity tasks feel much more fluid. It’s the perfect monitor for both gaming and work, and I highly recommend it.

Works great, with built-in display size options and excellent image quality. It’s ideal for research and writing, allowing documents and sources to sit side by side. It’s also fantastic for gaming, playing ARC Raiders on an ultrawide is an incredible experience.

This screen is amazing. Previously had 2 monitor set up and decided to go a new upgraded route. Glad I did.

This monitor is crazy good. The picture is insanely sharp, colors pop like crazy, and the high refresh rate makes every game feel buttery smooth. No dead pixels, no lag, no issues at all. Setup was fast and the build quality feels solid. For the price, this thing is a monster. Absolutely worth it!

This monitor is amazing! I love the size and how much easier I can see on it. Easy setup, make sure to have a second person to help lift because it’s heavy. Picture quality is great. Also one suggestion make sure to have plenty of space for it. It’s large!

This thing is a BEAST And it looks incredible!my husband is loving this thing and how it performs on his new PC. The lighting and picture are so smooth and crisp it's beautiful. Quick response and amazing sharpness for gaming.

This is the office and gaming solution for anyone who has 13 things going at once! I love streaming and working off of this monitor, it has been totally life changing! Note: on top of my PC is a 32” flat monitor.

I absolutely love this monitor! I truly can’t say enough good things about it. Now that I’ve gone to an Ultra Wide there really is no going back. I work from home and record music as a hobby and this monitor works amazingly for increasing my productivity, no matter what task I am trying to do.

Picture quality is great. Very versatile with different ultrawide resolutions and options. Gaming at 32:9 is quite the experience.

After having this monitor for a while I am super pleased with the performance. This is hands down the best monitor that I have ever gamed on.
