Great sound bar. We have had it for a year and a half and love the quality of it. I was nervous as I had only bought Bose sound bars in past. I liked a more expensive Samsung I had seen before in stores. But, a customer associate showed us this sound bar comparable to them more expensive one. And it sounded pretty similar. We are happy with our purchase.

I purchased this soundbar after and in store recommendation from a great best buy employee. I'd previously just returned a faulty unit from another brand and while I was in store took a quick look at this Samsung soundbar. Easy setup, sounds great, it really fills the room and we have high ceilings! Aesthetically, it's a good looking piece of hardware too! Now I'm considering the satellite speakers to achieve full effect.

I did a lot of research on what sound system to get with my new 75" Samsung Q80R TV. There's a lot of options. I decided to go with this system, since the directions on how to hook it to my TV were listed in my TV's owner's manual. I did this because the ratings were good, and it promised easy set up. The system did not disappoint. Sound is good. I recommend it to Samsung owners.

I bought this soundbar system and also the Samsung - Wireless Rear Loudspeakers to go with my brand new 75" Samsung TV and the sound is awesome! It is at least as good, maybe better, than the Sonos system that I have at my other place and it costs way less. It's easy to set up and it turns on and plays automatically when I turn the TV on. Awesome! I highly recommend it.

I went in to buy a simple 2.1 soundbar to replace one that quit working. The salesperson showed me this Samsung (which was on sale) and I was blown away by the capability. After I installed the unit it sounded even better than in the store. It fills my room with sound and the country music bass sends thrills through your body. I am so happy I have this unit.

Sound bar works great. We were not able to hear our TV when we had a large crowd or when the movies were too low but now we can, the sound bar made a big difference. It doesn't take a lot of space and it doesn't look bulky or ugly sitting on our fireplace. We just had to figure out how to tune it so it wouldn't sound as an echo with the TV.

I bought this sound bar because I didn’t want speakers all over the basement. This system is nice. It is very clear and louder than I need it to be without any distortion. I bought the sound bar for my Samsung TV and connecting it was too easy. I plugged in the cables, followed the directions, and It sounds great. It works well playing music from my phone too.

Great sound bar, got this as an open box missing the remote. Bought the remote on amazon and this has been one of the best sound bar's I've heard. Wireless subwoofer is nice and powerful and if you bump the bass up it will shake your walls!

1. Good part : Great immersive experience, premium build, two big company's child, crisp highs, punchy controlled bass(variable so quite a bit of freedom, I like less bass so turn it down). Easy connectivity and in my opinion blows away the competition - I got it for $270(sale) and it outperforms other LG, Samsung, Sony, Polk, JBL, Yamaha (yes, I did a lot of sampling around) in that price range. Only others I liked were Sony and LG(again in the price range). 2. Bad part : Just one. The volume can be changed by moving the simplistic looking "volume" button up/down which took a bit of time figuring out, as you don't wanna fiddle around too much or break your new toy. Overall : Highly satisfied. Will add rear/satellite speakers from Samsung in due time.

Best sound and price. bought a new Samsung TV at the same time and wow what a difference. Had bought a Sony and was told picture just as good as Samsung Q vision but not even close. Oh by the way best buy guys where great. No Hassel returns no restock fee and took my Q vision home same day. AWESOME

Sound bar it easy to set-up and comes with the cable to hook-up to your TV. Sound bar has quality sound for TV and Music is just OK. Sub Woofer is weak and does not have the power I was hoping for. If you turn the volume up pretty high bass is OK but wife can"t listen to it that high. Sound bar power is OK - sub woofer not so much.

Absolutely phenomenal sound from this thing. Playing CoD: MF- It sounds like you are actually IN it. Playing music- it sounds like you're in the middle of an orchestra. The wireless rear speaker kit connected easily and works flawlessly with this set. Great price as well. I am very happy with my purchase. My husband loves it, too.

This sound system is the clearest and most pure sound I’ve ever heard. From video games to movies and even just playing music, it gives me goosebumps every time. It’s very easy to set up and also has different setting for different sound options.

I bought this as an open box "excellent" item to go with the Samsung LED - 7 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR that I purchased last year. The sound system arrived in a beat up box but was in good overall condition inside the box. The set up took less than 30 minutes and my TV remote automatically controlled the volume of the sound bar. After reading the owners manual and playing with the sound modes I got it all set up and was watching TV. This sound bar has great sound and with the 5.1 channels there is no problem hearing dialog on the TV shows when there is background noise or music playing. The soundbar that this one replaced had an issue of the volume control having pretty drastic change intervals so there was no real happy medium for the volume level. The Samsung Q60R has a great sound to it and the adjustment intervals are very gradual so you will not have any issues finding just the right level for your room. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this system to anyone.

This sound at was our missing piece to the room. We love watching movies and the sound quality and ease of use is amazing! I love that it’s Bluetooth connected as well as we love playing music straight from our phones. One of the best purchases I have made!

If you want good quality sound at a reasonable price then the Samsung HW-Q60R soundbar is the system to get. While it will not give the loud, deep booming sounds of a high-end stereo system, no matter how good it may sound in the Best Buy showroom, the deep resonance of the subwoofer and additional woofers in the soundbar itself, though more subtle, is more than adequate for great sound when streaming music from your smartphone using the soundbar's Bluetooth capability and for watching movies, especially in Blu-Ray or 4K, where you have richer sound than with a DVD. As far as I know, this system will not work with Amazon Echo or similar devices. For this, you will need a different system. And speaking of Bluetooth - while the system has Bluetooth capability, you will not be able to view a movie or watch television using Bluetooth-enabled headphones! This was a huge disappointment for me since I often watch TV after my family has gone to bed and don't want to disturb them. This is a "must" feature that Samsung should add. And very, very important: The HW-Q60R soundbar is the system you want if YOU HAVE A 4K TELEVISION since it has 4K pass-through from a 4K video disc player to the TV. I bought the HW-N550 predecessor of this soundbar from Best Buy last year, only to discover past the date of return that I could not play 4K videos and get UHD resolution (only HD resolution) due to the lack of a 4K pass-through on the soundbar! So whatever soundbar you get in the end, if you want to play 4K video discs on a 4K player to your 4K television, you NEED a soundbar with 4K pass-through!! I am a bit angry at Best Buy for not alerting me to this since I bought a Samsung QLED television and 4K video disc player at the same time! When I finally got around to playing a 4K disc, I kept getting messages that it would only play HD quality and I couldn't figure out why. I even returned to Best Buy and asked the tech guy. They had no idea why. I finally called Samsung and learned past the date that I could return the soundbar that my soundbar was not 4K compatible. However, the current q60r soundbar system works beautifully and I can FINALLY enjoy 4K video discs and excellent sound. (BTW, I ended up giving the old system to my sister who has a non-Samsung TV and it works great, but frankly, Best Buy salespeople should be more up-to-date on these issues.) Let me conclude with this: The quality of sound with the HW-Q60R soundbar with 4K pass-through is much better than my older HW-N550. Not only is the bass more resonant with the redesigned subwoofer compartment but I can hear people speaking better. The newer Samsung soundbar is able to accentuate dialogue in a movie better than the previous system where the dialogue was often muted by the background sounds in the movie, forcing me to use subtitles so I could follow the dialogue. Oh, and be sure to get the accessory SWA-8500S speakers that go with the q60r soundbar to get the full effect of 5.1 surround sound. (Without them, you are only going to get 3.1 sound from the front only.) These speakers might be small but they have excellent sound quality, and to me, are worth the extra $100 or so that you must pay for them. Bottom line: If you are an average movie viewer like me with a desire for rich, full sound but not able to spend an arm and a leg for a high-end sound system, then this is the way to go!

Easy to set up and sound quality is fantastic. Distinct center speaker and surround sound effects rock. I coupled it with the optional rear speakers for the full 5.1 effect. Well worth it and fills my room perfectly whether watching tv or a movie. Could not be happier with my purchase.

The SAMSUNG Q60 soundbar is really easy set-up right out the box. Pairing was fast to my Samsung Q70 TV. The soundbar fill the room with extemly clear sound and bass from the sub woofer is great. I was looking at other brands but for price and performance I got my money's worth.

I listened to about 8 sound bars and 2 sound bases. I got this when it was on sale prior to Christmas. No issues with set-up and my charter Cable box remote picket up the signal correctly. Then I discovered intermittent issues when you turn on the cable box, HDTV, and sound bar with the Charter remote, the sound switched to the TV and not sound bar. So I had to use the Samsung TV remote to go into the menus and switch off TV speaker to sound bar. After a month that was getting old. So I switched to Bluetooth and the issue was resolved. Like the audio adjustments. On movies, the sub woofer is good. Now I said good and not great. Unlike others who say the sub woofer is weak, that is not my case. The sound bar is about 1 to 2 inches longer than the Samsung 49" HDTV. So it's perfect. Highly recommended. This is not the same as sold by Costco, did into the detail specs and that is why I got this one at Best Buy. Recommended.

I couldn't believe that this put out the same sound power and sound quality as my old Panasonic 5.1 surround sound five speaker system. I was debating between all of the Samsung soundbar speaker systems but for the price I couldn't resist and don't regret paying the extra dollars.
