I bought a 49KS8500 Curved 4K SUHUD TV. and i wanted everything to connect easily so i bought the new 9.1 and i even added the R1 Rear Speakers. You don't need any rear unless you want them because this new 2016 model has 5.1 in just the sound bar alone. I think Samsung needs to take a look at the BASS on this because it puts out too much bass. It does sound good but i have heard the new VIZIO line i have one and it has the bass set perfect like the movie theatre. It only puts out bass when needed and its not over bearing. For the Cost of the Samsung 9.1 being that i spent over $1200 just for sound i am a little disappointed that all that money and the sound is not perfect. I have heard that sound bars don't really give you REAL TRUE SURROUND. I am starting to believe that. This is way to expensive for what you get. Yes i give them praise on the easy one connect. That was my purpose for getting samsung stuff only. It connects easy and fast. I love how it connects. I am just really a HUGE MOVIE & SOUND BUFF and i like sound to be as perfect as the SCREEN IMAGE. I have a Home Recording studio in my office so i know a little about sound. I love my new samsung items. I love the TV. But i wish i could get to someone up the chain and have a meeting with them and see if SAMSUNG can try and correct the BASS issues. When i am in surround mode, the center speaker should put out the talking voices the R & L should put out the MUSIC and the REAR should put out the extras like Helicopters planes ect. ect. But the Voices talking comes out of the entire SOUND BAR. Something is not right and YES my settings are correct. DESIGN is perfection. Look is perfection. Sound quality is pretty awesome but just those few things i mentioned. If you are a SURROUND SOUND JUNKIE you will be able to tell. I just expected more from the new model and for the $$PRICE$$ i really expected a lot more perfection in the SOUND QUALITY. I am going to write to samsung corporate and ask them to look into the matter. I gave them 4 Stars over all. But Even if all the other points are PERFECTION and the QUALITY of the SOUND is not Up to PAR with TRUE SURROUND then it's not a good thing just because it looks pretty and easy to connect. Those things are wonderful, but the quality of surround sound 5.1 should have BEEN PERFECT. And it's not. I will say this, I hope they will fix the problem because i don't want other brands hooked up to my ONE CONNECT. Other brands won't connect with it. So i am sticking with this 9.1 2016 Model. I was going to take it back due to the expensive CO$T, but i decided to keep it. I have had both VIZIO and SAMSUNG plugged up to the same tv. I hope SAMSUNG will come out with a TRUE 5.1 Surround Sound System that is not a sound bar.

I actually bought this to go with my flat screen Sony XBR65850. I just laid it in front of the TV and it looks fantastic. It's length and blacks match perfectly. The sub hooks up very easily and never loses connection. If you're worried about bass, dont be, because there's so much I'm always turning it up and down - which I enjoy for movies. A quick sound change for music and hook up over Bluetooth which always works. I'm adding the R1s for satellite speakers soon.

Great sound for a tv. Maybe not as good as a big price home theater system but it sounds much better than the tv's built in speaker. Sub woofer is blu tooth so it can be anywhere in the room. Really sleek look wall mounted with the curved 65" Samsung TV.

I know there are better & more expensive systems available, but for the price you can't beat this. So easy to set up and link with my TV and convenience of one remote to operate all devises. Matches my curved TV and looks great mounted on wall.

Originally purchase receiver and new speakers for existing ceiling system. Saw this in the store and could not believe the sound quality. Not to mention it's Bluetooth so I can use with my smartphone!

The sound and balance from this sound bar are fabulous! The curve looks like it was made to sit right under my curved tv screen. Thanks to the Geek Squad for such a flawless installation.

We replaced a BOSE surround sound system with the sound bar. The sound bar provides good sound for the price but is not up to BOSE surround sound. But great for the price.

Wife said Old Surround Sound System and all the wires and connections was "OUTTA HERE!" I ordered from Best Buy as they had Best Prices and we have grown to trust them to deliver without regrets. Old set up was moved to The Man Cave and Momma Got a new beautiful Curved Sound Bar that matches our 65 in Curved TV. Sound is great and very few wires to contend with. When you go pick it up make sure you don't go in a Smart Car as Box is huge.

I really love this sound bar. Slim sleek and very powerful. The sound is very good for regular TV programming but pop in Blue Ray movie or any HBO programming with Dolby digital audio and you get room filling theater sound. The Bluetooth connection is flawless and works room to room with my smart phone. Yes, I would buy again. Now I just need a curved 4K TV to complement it.

I read the reviews for this speaker prior to buying and saw where someone wrote that it was not "over whelming". That is exactly how I would rate it. The sound is crisp and clear, but does not rock the house with extra loud sound variations like some systems. This is why I purchased this unit and it suits my everyday viewing very well.

I been shopping for a soundbar for a while and l love the samsung line. I bought a samsung tv and thought that a samsung soundbar would pair easily with it. It did and it sounds great, so great that I bought the R1 Lite speakers and now I'm surrounded with blissful sound.
