Customer Ratings & Reviews

I purchased and installed the washer about a month ago. We've done about a dozen loads so far and am very pleased with the results. The washer was easy to install, controls are intuitive, and the rinse process is better than my previous washer. Do follow the initializing sequence as recommended by manufacturer. It is also advisable to match the wash load size to dryer size to ensure full load can be performed and dried in one batch.

This Samsung Washer (5.2 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Top Load) was the best selection that I could have made to replace my previous std. 3.5 Cu. Ft. Kenmore washer which was dying a slow death. I couldn't wash more than 5 or 6 light items at a time and needed a washer a skoosh larger to accommodate bulky items such as comforters, quilts, large and heavy fuzzy bathrobes, window curtains, etc. and also fit into the same space as my old machine. It sits a few inches higher than my current dryer, but that's no big deal as I intend to purchase the matching Samsung dryer at a later date. Delivery/installation was easy, prompt and professional and it was worth a separate charge to haul away my old washer. This washer was much quieter than my previous one. Plus, I already had the SmartThings app on my phone so I can check the status of a load at any given time or pre-program the next load from my phone. So convenient!

The Samsung WA52DG5500AW washer offers an excellent combination of performance and convenience. With a generous 5.2 cu. ft. capacity, it easily accommodates large loads, making it perfect for families. The washer's variety of wash cycles, including options for deep cleaning and delicate fabrics, ensures versatility. The Soak option is a standout feature, helping to loosen tough stains before the wash cycle even begins. Additionally, the machine operates quietly, and its sleek design adds a modern touch to any laundry room. Overall, this washer delivers great value with effective cleaning, ample space, and user-friendly features.

I had one that looked just like this and was happy. However, it didn't last. I thought 10 years and that's great... Oh, silly me. checked the code and it was made in January or 2006. This is very much the same, all new and upgraded electronics. Quieter than my original when it was new... works great, couldn't be happier. Maybe, it will outlast the one I replaced, the dryer is still going after all this time, Maybe I'm just lucky but I think it's a good product,

washer quiet and efficient. easy to operate. sale went very smoothly. delivery and installation went extremely smoothly. washes well in timely matter

Love the large capacity and smooth wash!!! Definitely a great buy!

The Best washer and Dryer I have purchased. The salesperson was knowledgeable and explained all the features on both the washer and dryer. Delivery was exceptional. They set it up and show how to use both. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase or the experience. I will definitely chose Best Buy for future purchases.

Is super large capacity and easy to use. And easy to clean

This washer has no center agitator. Leaving more room for clothes. It is deep and I am short but tongs work great to get small items from the bottom. It's very quiet since my son's bedroom is next door. Love it.

This washer is easy to use. Also the bakery is deep and large enough for my family size.

The tub is quite wide, much larger than the previous washing machine that was front load, it is silent, the pre-wash cycle is very convenient. The only disadvantage I have is that for my size it is somewhat deep and I have to jump to be able to take out the clothes at the end of the cycle

This is one of the best washing machines I've ever had. The washing machine drum is huge and you can wash big loads of laundry. It is extremely quiet, and it's also beautiful.

Sleek and modern look. Easy to use controls. Quiet operation. Easy to load and unload. Also fits a lot of clothes.

This is a great machine. The capacity can easily handle comforters and bedding. It is quiet and efficient. I love it!!

Here we go, bottom line up front is that this thing is a beast. I recently bought a WAY higher priced set from a local scumbag. The washer didn’t work at all and eventually failed to drain. The dryer is crap too but it barely works so we didn’t need a new one of those. The broken washer was gonna be three weeks before they could even look at it and then they didn’t want to fix it because I was “mean” in email because this high priced washer is not working, brand new. So, I go to my local Best Buy, they didn’t have the super inexpensive washer in stock, and the only thing they did have was this Samsung. It was open box and had a dent on it, but let me tell you, this thing has worked, and worked. Hooked it right up, started a load, and it not only worked but really did a better job over all than the more expensive junk I bought. I have literally attempted to overload this thing, once but still did it, to see if it would choke. This thing just took it and asked for more. I am so impressed with this thing, 1/3 the cost of the other brand I bought from a local vendor, and it works. Five stars for me.

Im a fan of samsung products in general. This washer is very nice and pretty large. It works as advertised and is another great addition to my smart things.

“Well, I must say… this washer is quite impressive. The capacity alone is remarkable — you could practically fit a mountain of towels inside, though I do hope you’d fold them neatly afterward. The speed is extraordinary as well; having a full load done in under half an hour feels almost… magical. And it’s so quiet! Honestly, I can hardly tolerate clunky, rattling machines. Now, it isn’t without its quirks — that deep tub can be a bit, well, daunting if you’re not particularly tall, and the SmartThings app may test your patience at first. But once you’ve mastered it, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment, I assure you. So, despite a few imperfections, this washer is efficient, reliable, and, dare I say, elegant in its performance. If you value precision, speed, and a touch of sophistication in your home, this machine will certainly not disappoint.”

This has been great. Easy to use, without app! Great size difference compared to old one. No issues with cycles at this time. Came with no dents/dings and professionally delivered.

We’ve been using this washer since June 25 2025 and we love it so far. We usually do the quick wash and it washes very well! It does a great job on the spin cycle so the dryer doesn’t have to deal with the heaviness of something as large as a fluffy comforter. This is my favorite washer yet. The delivery crew was friendly and quick and took our junk washer too! One less thing for us to do. Highly recommend this washer, it’s such a great size for my big family if 7!

Great , very good , I love can I used whit my cellphone
