Great range for a serious home cook
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Service and value: Best Buy matched a more attractive price for the same range and then went above and beyond offering such important things a free delivery, set up and haul away....and when I say “set up” this range was set up perfectly....you can put an egg in the center of the pan and it stays right there.... Performance: This is a premium priced product and you would expect superior performance at this price point. The oven is magnificent, and performs beautifully, the cook top is amazing with fantastic control, from a vigorous boil to the gentlest of summers. The Boost Function basically takes the range burner to a thermonuclear level, out performing even the priciest has ranges in terms of how quickly it can boil water. Finishes: this range looks and feels expensive, as it should. I am pleased with my purchase and will be returning to Best Buy for my next appliance purchase Only snag: And it is minor, I wish there was a second large burner. There is one huge one and three smaller ones. That’s it, love everything else!

Great induction range and convection oven
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite range I've ever used. Previously I had a gas range and I just never got the appeal. Water would take forever to boil, the whole kitchen would get insanely hot while cooking, and the benefits just weren't worth it. I don't think I can ever go back to a traditional range after this one. Love how the cooktop will auto turn off when you take off a pan and produces hardly any excess heat while cooking. Water boils within minutes, butter melts in seconds, and overall cooking is faster and more efficient. No more preheating pans for several minutes, pans get piping hot within a minute or 2. And the over is just as great. Especially love the roast function for getting foods crispy while baking. And the steam clean is wonderful for cleaning up drips in the bottom of the oven.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't think that because this is a glass top stove that it is like all the others you have used in your life. Induction is a much more controlled form of cooking. The surface never gets hot enough to burn food on so it cleans up quite easily. You will need magnetic/stainless cookware for this but it was a good excuse to upgrade our old set anyway. Sleek and easy to use. I highly recommend this stove to anybody that is looking.

Greatest stove and oven I have ever used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not only does this Samsung unit look great, it is all we hoped for and more. Anybody considering an electric range should REALLY consider going with INDUCTION range top. This is just awesome....the microwave version of a stove. Heats fast, even and great control like gas with all the benefits of a glass top. WOW

A most amazing range...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Induction is great when you have an elderly person or someone who might forget that a pan is cooking on the stove. This range can detect when a pot is burning and lower the heat, or it automatically shuts off when you lift a pan away. But if you place the pan back it turns on again. The oven is huge and well insulated. The lower heating element is hidden so you don't have to clean around it. The control panel is well laid out, and easy to read and use. I like that you can turn off the oven light if you crack the door open to let out the heat. I took 1 star off because the leveling feet don't screw all the way in. Because of this I had to remove the two front feet and use a board with the proper thickness. Also, the oven door has a lock which is great, but the lock button has instructions telling people how to unlock it. (hold 3 seconds) But I don't want them to know how to unlock the oven door. And 3 seconds is too easy to guess. It should be longer...

This Samsung induction range does everything right
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The induction stovetop works well, accelerating cooking, and is easier than a normal electric range to keep clean. The burner knobs are fabulous. The visual feedback, control features, and operation are all simple, straightworward, and effective. The hidden burner in the oven is a nice touch, too. Getting hot food off of the lowest rack in the oven is a bit difficult, due to its shape, but otherwise stellar operation.

Life changing appliance
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my doubts when shopping for an electric induction range. It's way pricier than traditional gas range and not all of my cooking wares are compatible with it. But, this thing is amazing. The time to heat up a pot of water is night and day compare to gas range (or my previous electric range). The glass-top is easy to clean and my wife is a fan of the convection oven. Good quality item and , to be safe, I purchased extended service with it.

Happy but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this induction range simply for the looks, and I must confess that it did not disappoint. Although the knobs and oven door are harder to twist or open in this present day of easy, the look of the range is what I expected. The induction range cooktop is seamless with no annoying strips on top of the cooktop. Don't get me wrong, I love functionality as well and I get that with this, but I love beauty. The installers annoyed me by not giving a 2hr window, so I wasn't home when they installed it and they did not reduce the legs of the range to level it with the height of my countertop which I hoped for, but they will be back to adjust it in a few days. Otherwise, it added shine and pizzazz to that section of my kitchen. If anything changes because I have only had it for 6 days, I will update.

Awesome Stove
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never knew the perks of an induction stove top. The handles on my pots and pans never get too hot to touch and my kitchen doesn't seem to get as hot since it only heats the pan and the food. If something boils over, the liquid doesn't burn and make a sizzling noise. I can move the pan and wipe it clean immediately. So cool! The design of my stove looks like a high-end gas range. The power boost fast heating element heats up like a gas stove. Incredible! It would be hard to go back to conventional stove top now. Gas has alway been my choice but now I'm rethinking that.

Great stove so far!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never thought I would like an electric stove as much as I like this induction stove. I've always had a gas stove but decided to get the induction for a kitchen remodel and space is limited. A magnet sticks to my pots and pans, so no need to purchase a new set. Haven't tried the convection oven yet, but I've read good things about them.

Somewhat disapointed with the installation.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The legs do not allow the stove to go flush with the counter top as we expected to. Rather it now currently sits 2" higher all around above the granite counter top (just swell). Stove itself is fine just hard to get over the disappointment of the fitting correctly. Samsung should have done more R&D to allow for counter top height differences.

Sleak looking range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is a steep learning curve associated with induction cooking that can leave people frustrated. The speed at which the water is heated is partially dependent upon the cookware, but I have found in my experience that boiling can be achieved in roughly one minute. There are two fans that operate in unison within the oven and there are some really nice features for the oven. With that said if money is not an issue I would probably go with the in wall dual convection oven with a separate induction cooktop as some cool tech that could be used alongside the range is nullified (digital temp probe) due to the magnets used in induction cooktop.

For a pro or dabbler
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This range is not only gorgeous, it cooks well. It has more control than you might expect from an electric appliance. Be ready for the investment in new pans, however. A plate under your non magnetic pan won't work as well.

Functional range, like the induction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had a good experience with this range, unlike our other Samsung appliances. The clicking when you use more than one burner does happen with ours, but it doesn't bother me, and I really like having an induction range, especially compared to regular electric ranges. Fingers crossed it keeps working!

Wonderful induction oven
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a wonderful oven, everything about it great to use. It is well built and looks great in our kitchen. The induction stove is incredibly fast and also looks good. It has a lot of settings which need some time to learn but it is worth it.

Awesome, Efficient Range
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Induction cooking is definitely the way to go! It is quick and infinitely adjustable. I bring my liquids to a boil then lower the temperature to a simmer and it holds that simmer without having to keep adjusting the controls like I used to have to do with a conventional electric range. It compares very favorable with my gas range with added safety. I never have to worry about a flame going out and leaking gas into my kitchen or wasting fuel keeping my range "at the ready" like with a pilot light. If the grandkids fiddle with my knobs, I don't have to worry about them burning themselves on an unattended burner because it doesn't heat unless there is a pan on it.
