A streamlined cooking experience. This Samsung range features electromagnetic fields that heat only the cookware and not the cooktop, to make cleanup easy. This induction technology saves energy and increases safety by generating precise heat only where you need it. Plus, you can see exactly where it’s hot with virtual LED flames.
A: Really great question ! Notice there is no response and that alone should be a moment of pause. A lot of reviews these days are from "verified members "and are buddy-buddy with website and hence evaluate accordingly. Frankly, in my opinion , the chef collection is nothing more than different handles and a stove divider . Also , If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Chef collection has just recently been discontinued by Samsung. ( most consumers are seeing what you are seeing) Marketing is powerful stuff ! Good luck. F
A: You either need to purchase/use induction cookware or buy Induction adapter plates. They are usually stainless steel and can be purchased lots of places for little $. These go on the cooktop underneath your old cookware. Make sure to get the right size(s). Do a magnet test on your cookware to see if the magnet sticks to the bottom of your pans. If it does they will work with induction cooktops.
A: Hello Michelle, Slide-in ranges allow you to have the seamless look of your tile backsplash without looking at the back-guard of a range. ^Britt
Q: Is the depth of the range measured to the front of the control panel or the front of the oven door?
A: The depth is up until the front of the oven door.
Q: How do you set the clock? No clock button.
A: I'm happy to help with this, Maureen! This link (https://bit.ly/3u0Vyo7) is to the user manual for this model. Page 32 has step by step instructions on how to set the clock. ^Jecca
Q: Does it come with a power cable and plug? Thank you
A: Thanks for asking, StanTheMan! The power cord is sold separately for Samsung ranges. This is due to the varying types of outlets that a user may have available in their home. ^Jecca
