Okay, so this is our first gas range since 1978, so it is taking a bit of getting used to. That said, this range is easy to use and I'm pleased by it. It looks great and we're enjoying the convection oven. Since we are going from NO convection to a simple single fan oven, we don't know if the fancier ovens are better. It was a little hard to level the thing because there isn't much clearance to work with and the adjustable feet have a large adjuster thingy (the scientific name for the doohickey) that is hard to get a wrench around. I really love the center griddle. I didn't think I would, but it is really nice. You have to be certain that the stove is level if you cook a whole package of cheap bacon on it. Otherwise the grease will all run down to the low corner and potentially leak over the side onto the top of the stove. One selling point for us was the fact that this particular oven DOESN'T have a warming drawer on the bottom. We need the space below the oven to store our skillets and can't imagine ever using a warming feature, so this was perfect for us. However, it IS a smaller space than the one this oven replaced, so the bottom tray doesn't hold as many skillets. If you want a warming tray on the bottom, you'll have to move up to the next model. The other thing is that the cooktop gets dirtier than the sealed-top electric range that this stove replaced. Well, it doesn't actually get dirtier, it's just that we could just wipe off the electric cooktop when we were cleaning up after dinner. To clean this gas cooktop, we have to remove the grids (or whatever you call them) and then wipe up the spills and splatters, being careful not to dislodge the gas cooking elements (nearly impossible). We weren't used to or expecting this, so we'll just have to grin and bear it. I should mention that the range came to us with a couple of small dents on the top of it. The installer noticed it and showed it to me. We could have ordered a new one and Best Buy would replace it when the new one came in, or take a 15% discount off and keep the dented one. Since you couldn't see the damage unless someone took a finger and placed it directly on it, we decided to take the discount. I would have no qualms recommending this Samsung range and Best Buy.

Works fine compared to other the original stove that came with the house but I paid xtra for the anti fingerprint finish and it has barely been a year and it’s peeling off from cleaning have lots of Samsung products but very disappointed in this item ,will not be purchasing another Samsung appliance again

I have been shopping and comparing and comparing and shopping for months for a convection range for under $1,000. I went back and forth between the LG and Samsung, hubby & I made our purchase during the Memorial Weekend Sale, great savings! - Very happy with our purchase (he really likes the griddle for some reason - lol) . We had a Maytag Gemini double oven, so far I don't miss it (gave it to our daughter so if I miss it too badly I can go visit it - :) ) but it cooks and bakes like a dream. I bake 25 degrees cooler, and few minutes shorter - and better results! No hot spots, ie, back of oven being hotter then front. So pleased. Only 1 improvement 3rd rack for oven would be perfection!!!!

The Knobs cracks easily making it useless. Poor quality

I had provided an initial review on the over the range microwave which got delayed significantly. Now with this range, the first time it came in damaged. Next when the person who had come to deliver, they started the oven with a plastic component inside which melted. See attached image. Pretty bad experience with the service/logistics of Best Buy.

It’s peeling off after only a 16 months of use the Samsung doesn’t cover anything after 1st year, no warranty on the paint at all! Good luck

Bad product ... door broken Just buy 25 day ago..

I wanted to replace the very basic stove that I had been living with since I bought my house 15 years ago, especially since the thermostat went out. This was a Black Friday deal at BB, and the stainless matched the rest of the appliances I had bought over the years. I wanted 5 burners, a flat grate across the surface, something that was easy to clean, and a convection oven. This was the best option out there. I compared it a similarly priced Fridgidare GAllary model, but that one had plastic knobs vs. the substantial metal knobs on the Samsung.

This Gas Range is nice looking, matches the other 3 pcs very well. It's the best of the four. The cook top is very versatile and does have the griddle if you're more adventurous than I. The oven is A+!! Convection is a major improvement over regular bake. A turkey at the holidays was beautiful, cooked moist and no basting was necessary. Such an improvement. I can't compare it to other Convection ovens as this is my first. But I like it.. A LOT. If buying standalone I wouldn't hesitate, though to have matching products I would have gone with a another brand if I was not in a hurry to get them ordered. Remember, delivery DOES NOT include set up or hook up. If you have water, gas lines for appliances. I would suggest in the heat of replacing all your appliances to pay for installation which is negligible when you consider the cost of purchasing a 4 appliance suite. As the old ones were being taken to the garage or removed.. they will not wait and you're left to hook up lines, position and level your new purchase. The guys were nice, though were on a schedule. I take the blame for not having looked into the difference. I have a house full of Samsung electronics and love them. It might have been too soon to purchase their appliances. I went for look, price and Samsung quality. "Lifes Good" seems appealing after two months with Samsung Appliances.

This thing is nice! Different sized burners. Convection oven. Very pleased with the purchase. If I had to find a negative it would be that the range doesn’t come up clean. Black stainless is great but the area under the burners is. Or black stainless and looks smudged after first wiping.
