Purchased this TV in the first part of August to take the place of a 4 year old 46* Samsung. I have recent models of Sharp, 2 LG's, 2 Vizio's and the 4 year old Samsung had the best picture. This new model simply blows the old Samsung out of the water not to mention the rest of them. Amazing picture. I put off buying this for several months and now I wish I hadn't. I have it hooked up to A Samsung HW-550 soundbar, but just using the TV's speakers it doesn't really sound too bad, better than most TV's speakers I have heard. The only problem i had was with the Eco Sensor control. Eco Sensor lightens or darkens the screen in relation to room brightness. It darkened the screen too much for my taste so I had to turn it off. I had a hard time finding the control for it. It's under_ System-EcoSolution-EcoSensor. Now all is great. All in all I don't think a person could go wrong buying this TV. I just noticed it is $100 cheaper than when I purchased it. Great deal.

I love the picture on this TV! I have an antenna connected from the roof into the back of it and I get beautiful HD pictures and 80 free channels here in Chicago. I bought it for my 90 year old mother so she can easily access Netflix without my assistance. She can even do it with limited vision and little experience in using technology. The multi-colored HUB button helps her located the area which contains Netflix, among other choices. I have hopes to watch some You Tube on it, but have not gotten around to it yet. I recommend this TV for ease of use. I cannot tell you about all the other things it has, which is many, because I only bought the TV for use of Netflix, YouTube, and a great picture when watching antenna TV.

I have researched a lot of TV's before making this purchase. I wanted a 4K TV with solid reviews and am very pleased with the Samsung. Picture is better than I expected and the Smart TV functions are great - works very smoothly with Amazon programs. You have to see the SUHD in your home to appreciate how nice it looks.

This model is the entry level SUHD TV that doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the much more expensive models but does have a tremendous picture. This is a SMART TV and a 4K Ultra HD TV... the smart TV gives you instant access to 4K programming via the NET including 4K YouTube and if you are an Amazon Prime member a few full length movies and some series 4k formatted programming and is DirecTV 4K ready and compatible. The 4K upscaling of 1080P pictures is also excellent. We have a 2 year old SAMSUNG that cost about $3K two years ago. This TV was much less than $1K and the picture quality and features are much better than the $3K TV. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this TV to all who are on a budget but want to get a high quality TV. The technical features of this TV rivals the picture of the OLED TVs which are over $4K for the same size. Do yourself a favor and A/B compare this TV at your local Best Buy, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this TV during the Black Friday promotion. I couldn't be happier! Right out of the box I could see I made the right choice. Great picture, tons of features and user friendly!

This TV was a perfect fit for our space - easily viewable and reasonable scale. Picture quality is terrific. Easy to set up. Stand could use swivel and tilt functions.

We had just switched from cable to fiber (AT&T U-verse). With that product came more than 200 High Defination channels. We wanted to upgrade to HD television that would better serve the new environment. Did some research and found that the Samsung product would fit well. Found the Samsung 50 Class LED Smart 4K Ultra at Best Buy at a great price with much help from the Best Buy sales staff. Installation was very simple. The quality of the picture is outstanding. The Samsung has features that I though we're only on products costing much more. Really pleased with the Best Buy service and our new Samsung.

Got this tv on Black Friday special, otherwise would not have paid full price. Decent picture, although it does have some unnatural colors and soap opera effect. Some motion blur on fast scenes in movies, better during video games. Overall, decent picture and easy set up. Enjoyed my plasma tv better, but those are no longer an option for a new tv. It is very clear/sharp at close sitting ranges. Overal, for a higher mid level tv it does what it claimed to do. Satisfied with the price and features, Best Buy made purchase hassle free. The picture is slightly reduced at different viewing angels, but not as badly as I thought it might be based on reviews. With a sound bar it sounds awesome, but on its own you have to turn the volume up quite high (typical of flat panels); sound quality of tv itself is decent.

There will be some channels that the TV looks really good especially if you're watching sports like football basketball soccer etc. I still think I'm having some trouble adjusting the settings to fit as a standard, I've also read that you might need a new 4K HDMI cable that I haven't bought yet, so maybe that will help. However the TV looks great, I absolutely love it as I was in desperate need of an upgrade. I had been researching for TVs for over year, and came across this deal just before the Super Bowl. Overall TVs great I have no issues with it love the smart TV function. It's a good TV

I think the scale of the 50 inch was perfect for the size of the viewing room. I love the smart capabilities of this TV. Very easy to set up.

Samsung 4K Television is Stunning and "Will" meet the "STANDARDS" of Hollywood's New Films, Television's New Series and Made for Cable Television not to exclude "FREE Uncompressed Antenna Broadcasts" in the next Decade. It is EASY to Setup and it makes a HOME THEATER with a Sound Bar and Subwoofer a very pleasant experience. The folks at Best Buy were professional and knowledgeable in what was necessary to complete the Home Theater Experience. I would purchase at Best Buy again for my other appliance and electronic equipment needs.

The television has the best picture of any set I've owned. However, before you decide to upgrade to UHD or Ultra HD check with your cable or satellite provider. I have Direct TV and to get UHD there is a $158 service charge to install a box even though I have a service plan. Then you have to pay around $11 per UHD movie which is also constricted by limited content. Netflix is no better unless your internet provider can get you at least 20 megs download speed. On it's own, this is a 5 star TV. Unfortunately, the companies that provide content have to get on board.

I recently researched and shopped for a TV for my parents for a Christmas present. I chose the Samsung because of my own positive history with them and the reviews on this model were also positive. It has a fantastic picture and the Smart TV hub is easy to use. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

I bought Samsung UN50JS7000FXZA, then returned it to exchange for Sony and then bought it back. Picture quality is excellent, sound is average, refresh rate is 60 Hz (don't be confused by TruMotion 120). Sony 830 has 120 native refresh rate, but color saturation isn't even close to Samsung. If you don't watch too much live sports and use it for movies and tv shows, this is a great TV to begin with. If you can fork out a little more money, go for Samsung 8000 series and that would cover watching sports as well with higher refresh rate. And yes, SUHD really is decent with Nano Crystal technology colors.

First TV, we changed after1 week, screen went black, did not come back. Changed it got the same TV, we like it, great picture, smart TV, fast response, great price.

I had no idea what to buy... the sales person was so educated and listened to my needs. This TV hit the spot and then some. Great color, very user friendly, I love all the apps! I recommend the TV to anyone looking for great color. Actually, it does more than I know what to do with it. I was told it isnt as quick as some TV's and that football or something fast moving might bluer... for me, nothing like that.

Great TV. Set up Was a breeze. Not a true 120Hz but a 60 with some enhancements for performance. You'll need dark glasses if you use sports mode. Its really, really bright! Volume is good when watching movies or plain tv but as usual, be prepared to jump on the remote when the commercials start. Only regret is not getting the 55". Overall, great purchase.

This Samsung Smart TV is definitely a great buy. The picture quality is outstanding, the colors are vibrant. We are blown away watching movies and TV in general.

So far this TV has been great! We've taken some time to calibrate the picture and that made a difference. I love the smart feature where you can look at stats and bios of the games/players on sports channels. Love having Netflix and YouTube on the TV. If you have a Samsung phone, you can also throw your content up onto the TV. Love that feature too! Colors are pretty good. The only complaint I have is that it's kind of hard to read the text when it's white on black. The contrast is too striking or something.

We recently upgraded our TV to the Samsung 4k Ultra HD Smart TV and I couldn't be happier! The screen is incredible; the picture is much clearer than our previous TV (which was also Samsung.) I also love that it's a Smart TV and I no longer need the PS3 to watch Netflix or Amazon on my TV. It's very easy to use and very user friendly. I would definitely recommend this TV!
