Another great product by Samsung. The HD program I see are so much more realistic looking on this set than my previous 1080 TV. Can't wait to see a true 4K program or DVD. This was an open box purchase which makes this great value product even better. In my opinion better picture than SONY, Sharp, LG and all other brands. Highly recommend.

Researched many TV's and decided on this TV. For the price and features we are happy with our decision. The picture is great and speakers are better than we expected as we have yet to hook up to a sound bar. We replaced a five year old Samsung high end at the time and it doesn't compare.

I've owned many Brands of TVs, and learned by experience that the Samsung models are the best by far for the money. The easiest to set up and superior picture quality. My current purchase, a 50 inch SUHD 4K is no exception.

It will be nice when 4k gets more content, the picture from this tv is excellent. Best Samsung we have ever owned. The content we can get is unreal the color and depth.

This is my first plunge into buying a TV in 15 years. I am totally pleased with customer support when checking out the current spectrum of available TV's and with the excellent picture quality once this TV was installed, despite Direct TV's lack of 4K programming at the time of purchase and the necessity to temporarily set up at 1080 pixels. I purchased on line and the TV arrived quickly and in perfect condition. If you are looking for the best at great sales prices, look no further than this one. (Just FYI, if you are doing the assembly yourself like Direct TV requires, you will need a screwdriver with a large diameter handle and spanner bar or power assisted screw driver to get the torque necessary for securely screwing the base to the TV.)

I was looking for a tv to fit in a certain area. Bought a 40 inch last year but it was to small. I found thi s one, read the reviews, got it home, swapped it out with the forty inch and after 10 minutes of setup was on the fly. I really like the size, picture, and ease of use.

My LG got fried by the last lightning storm, so I did my research and got the 50"S-UHD Samsung because of highest level of technology, quality, features, and great picture. Works perfect with my wireless router and my Roku. The price dropped a week after my purchase and Best Buy refunded the $100 without any hesitation. I am a very satisfied customer..

I went into bestbuy looking to purchase a 1080p Samsung, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on this open box 4K Samsung! The smart features work amazing and the picture is even better!!

Was looking to replace my 46 inch Samsung with this model. was on sale during black fri for 799.00. Smart/4K/SUDTV. This is one of their newest models and the picture seems pretty good but didnt knock me off my feet yet. i went out to several sites and changed the picture settings which i think helped. Pressing the 'sports' mode button really seems to brighten the picture. Being that it is a 60 mhz (true motion rate 120) TV, i think that is where it falls a little flat. Still not sure how samsung makes those claims. you really need to talk to someone that knows something to decipher between those claims on the box. i was very interested in the True Motion 240mhz model (8500?) but was another 500.00 more. Not worth it at this point. i'll wait for the price to come down. For now, this TV is in the bedroom. Still offers a great picture but not sure it beats my True motion 240 HDTV in the living room yet.

I was worried that I was wasting my money buying a 4k tv since there isn't a lot of 4k content available, but the picture quality on regular HD is incredible. Blows away my 1080 tv, up scaling is very good. The colors are the best I've ever seen. Best tv ever!

Picture quality is much better than last year's model. The features are better placed and easier to use. However the browser is no better than before! Truly a smart TV ..... For now!

Perfect in every way, best picture ive ever seen, easy to use features, just awesome. If trying to look for a flaw then sometimes when your adjust the volume, the sound will lag for about 2 seconds, nothing bad just looking for a neg. I went through 3 tvs before this 1, a 55inch hisense picture was ok but horrible smart features. A 55inch sony which was great but not worth the price for what you got and a little ruogh to navigate, a 60inch samsung which was great but had that stupid box to hook all your cords into 1, just plain stupid. Needless to say i was picky, went smaller with better everything else. Money well spent.

I've only had the TV for about two months now but I can tell you the picture is excellent. Easy to set up, light weight and uses much lower energy than the set I replaced.

I purchased this TV as a Christmas present to myself and love it. Great picture and sound. The apps for the TV are great too. This TV is great for video gaming as well.

Did my research before buying this unit and was convinced it was what we wanted. Cannot believe the things we can do with this unit. It even connects to our speakers via Bluetooth, something I did not find in my research. Picture is outstanding. Cannot imagine what UHD will look like when it starts being broadcast down the road. Like the one piece stand for stability rather than the little widespread legs found on many TVs today. Price was outstanding compared to other brands of comparable quality and features. Think the manufacturer could have provided a better manual, in print and electronically.

4K videos on YouTube are just stunning. Up scaling of old movies on TCM brings out detail not seen in 1080. Colors are quite vibrant. Very happy with this purchase

Have had this TV for 3 months (got a great deal before Superbowl). Assembly of the stand and connecting to my WiFi network was easy. However, the factory pre-set picture quality was much too bright and had exaggerated, bleeding colors in Dynamic, Standard, and Natural modes. Movie mode on the other hand was too dim. I tried manually adjusting the various picture settings (contrast, brightness, color, color space, etc.) to recommended settings found in rtings.com for this model, but that yielded an unacceptably dim and faded picture. I conclude there is a wide manufacturing variance unit-to-unit. But after numerous tweaks to satisfy my own subjective viewing preferences, I have found settings that yield a VERY impressive, vibrant, lifelike picture. I've enjoyed getting unsolicited "Whoa, is that a new TV? The picture looks incredible!" type comments from visiting friends and family when watching regular programs and sports on DirecTV, and especially when watching BlueRay DVDs. I then show it off further by streaming 4k demo videos from YouTube, which is easily and quickly accessible from the SmartHub button on the remote. Several have taken note of the TV's exact model number, so convinced are they that this should be their next TV. All is not perfect though. This TV's color and contrast degrade very rapidly when watching from off center, much more so than expected. I wish the TV swivels on its stand to help alleviate this issue. There is also occasional "judder" during fast-moving scenes which is not really noticeable under most conditions. So in summary, I am happy with this TV and recommend it, but be aware that you may need to do some extensive tweaking of the picture settings, and that there is a rather narrow "sweet spot" for viewing the best picture quality.

I purchased this tv during the pre Black Friday sale. I like the TV, but you do get what you pay for. This TV has a 60 hz refresh rate. The description says it has a 120 motion rate that is a little bit misleading. However all in all for the price it is a good TV. Unless I am watching football or any fast motion movies, I have noticed very little jutter over the past few weeks watching other programming. I would recommend this tv for the non sports or non action move watcher. However I'm planning to return it and purchase the Sony XBR49X830C. It has a Native 120 HZ refresh rate and is about the same size and price at Best Buy.

I couldn't be any with the purchase of this tv. The streaming works flawless. The app searching function is very smooth and there I have yet to experience tedious loading times. Has three hdmi which come in handy for attaching multiple devices. For the people that do not have a surround sound let me tell you that the sound is great in comparison to other tv in the market, therefore the tv alone is sufficient. Now the picture quality....AWESOME!!! If you want to feel like you are backstage watching the actors make the movie this is the tv for you...all I can say is buy this TV...
