Replaced an aging TV that wasn’t a smart TV. I used a Mac Mini to make it smart. This TV has been great good picture and decent volume. The addition of all the apps I need make this a keeper for the price.

I recently purchased this tv, and oh my god do I love it! I had been using the same tv for the last eight years or so (40 inch vizio...which btw was a mistake of a purchase), and the difference in quality was apparent the moment I turned on this tv. The HD is so crystal clear and the sound that comes from the tv itself is surprisingly good quality (last tv sound would like to get softer and louder as it saw fit). The first movie I watched was Into the Spider-Verse and it looked so amazing, I couldn’t even believe it. I can’t wait to watch more things in 4K now. And did I mention that gaming is astounding as well? Jedi Fallen Order, modern warfare, and Spider-Man look sooooooo good with this tv it’s not even funny! Best purchase of my adult life (besides my car). Great quality at a great price!

This is my first Samsung big screen smart TV. Others in my family convinced me this was the way to go. They were not wrong. The picture quality is great. It was easy to set up, and the settings are easy to maneuver through.

Bought this for my bedroom. Works great and the picture is great. The sound is not good but we don't turn it up high because we are in our room and trying to not wake up our kids when we are watching. BUT sometimes we do want it loud and it is not good at being loud. The smart features have worked great. All in all a good tv for the price

Need two people to mount on wall. A little large for one. Great picture. Screen angle beyond 45 degrees begins to degrade. Sound is not bad without a sound bar system. I would recommend a sound system if this is your main TV.

Very Good for guest room or Child room, not necessarily for main entertainment in Livingroom or Media room. PS4/Xbox One and 4K content look great. Smart functions are fantastic at this price point.

Great TV, picture is so clear. The set up for the TV is simple and easy to understand. I like the fuction of the smart view. I would recommend this TV for anybody. The size of the TV is perfect for a little room and little space.

I needed to get a larger screen. I liked this flat panel for its size, features and price. There are many ways you can use streaming for this TV. With a good internet connection and/or an HDTV antenna you can cut the cord for sure

I purchased this to replace a 9 year old Series 6 that has dying LED's in the back light. I decided to go 1 series up and make the move to 4K. I never realized I would loose viewing angle as bad as I did. I've seen other reviews with the same issue but was a little skeptical. They were right. This set also has issues with broadcast channels, red and orange bloom as other colors remain level. This can be controlled by keeping the colors at a washed out level, but why? The resolution is very good when viewed straight on. The smart features are very easy to use. I plan to replace this set in the spring. By that time I will have had enough of it. I think I also learned what to watch out for, I hope. In all honesty I wish I had my series 6 back with a good back light. Final thought, I do not think this set is up to Samsung standards and hope it is not an indicator of a trend.

I love my Samsung Smart TV! My old flat screen finally gave out, and I rewarded myself with this 50" Samsung Smart TV. Beautiful picture, great sound, and easy to use and set up. You won't regret this purchase!

Initially, my intention was to purchase the Samsung Curve. I loved how the screen just drew me in. Once I actually went to purchase my television, my intentions changed. First, it was explained to me that Samsung was phasing out the curve and that this would be a better purchase. He also pointed out that the picture quality on this was better. Setting them side by side, I couldn't deny the difference. Hardware setup was extremely easy. I like that clips, to gather wires/ cables, were provided and easy to install. Connecting my television to my modem was slightly challenging (to be honest - it was a lot of user error lol). I'm still figuring out a few features, but overall I am more thank pleased with my purchase! Samsung has yet to disappoint!

Clear, crisp picture with great color and depth. Remote is somewhat overloaded with features but does provide fast resonse. Stand is easy to install and very sturdy. Size is perfect for an average sized room.

Great tv! My husband and I decided to get a much needed upgrade and we found this to be the best budget friendly tv. The picture quality is great, I think it is the perfect size, and it is super user friendly!

We we're looking for a TV for a limited amount of space. I've owned Samsung Smart TV's for a while now and have always been happy with the product. The picture and ease of use and options is very impressive.

Good size, great picture quality, good sound, and somewhat easy controls. The picture quality can be better but you're on the entry level of 4K TV's with this TV. Great for the average person. 4K is truly 4K and even works on my Xbox great. I like this TV for watching movies, shows, and gaming. The sound is good but if for some reason you want insane surround sound, buy a sound system. Its good though don't get me wrong. The frame rate is good. 60hz is good for an entry level TV. You want 120 4K, you better have a big wallet. Good TV for most people. 100% recommend.

I purchased this because my 6 series started turning itself on and off. Initially I thought it was an internal issue but turns out it just needed a new power cord. No big deal and I still have the 6 series, which I love. The 7 series is great but I do think the picture on the older one is slightly better. Also the sound on the 7 is good and you can do a bit more customizing to it in terms of bass, treble, etc. But I find it harder to hear the actual TALKING. It's also a bit unnerving when suddenly theres a loud boom, music, or thunder sound. Maybe I just need to adjust it a bit more. All in all a great tv for the price and Samsung never disappoints. Call me crazy but I actually still prefer the 6 series.

This is a major upgrade from our previous upgrade. The picture is great, but I find myself having to change the Picture settings often between "Movie", "Natural" or " Dynamic" depending on what we're watching or playing. "Game" mode turns on automatically,l when PS4 is powered on, which is nice, but going from a live football game to a Netflix movie requires going into settings, otherwise the Netflix show is too clear/sharp and looks live, like a soap opera. It would be great if there were automatic settings for this because the settings button is very tiny on the remote. I'll continue to search for a solution, in the meantime, we'll adjust manually every time. Outside of this, the TV is great and we love it.

I was looking to purchase a TV under $500 and with all the research and looking, this TV is the best in the range. It provides great technical specifications with solid picture quality, all at low price.

This is the second one I buy, the first one hangs from the ceiling in my parents kitchen and they love it, so I got them a second one to replace their old bedroom tv. Great picture, ease of use, and price.
