Should last longer than a year. Big black shadow down the middle

Upgraded the TV in my wife's "nest" (our master bedroom), great color and the somewhat narrow viewing angle is not an issue. Set up was easy, but be aware you need to hook up the connections, turn on the TV and then power up the receiver and cable box to get the various smart components to sync together. Great price and getting the extended warranty was still very affordable. Very easy to bring up many outside Apps, many on they remote and accessible with one click.

This purchase has been a great addition. Good quality picture....sound....features....size for our bedroom. The price was reasonable and as of now, there are no regrets with purchase. We've only had the television for a short time and will update review as needed. It was tremendously easy to assemble. We did not mount it and chose to place it on a stand, although it has mounting options and would be good on the wall in a small space (bedroom or office).

I absolutely love the image on this TV. Our old one was over 8 years old. I really enjoy the access to live streaming content (HuLu, Prime, Netflix), and being able to stream from our phones (apple and android(Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus). Set up was okay. I had to call Samsung Technical support to assist me in pairing the remote with my Spectrum / TWC box. And anytime I have to call technical support it is frustrating, as 98% of the time I've already done all the steps that they want to work thru. To that point, I was Never able to pair the Samsung remote. with the cable box. Why is the so important? Because I don't want to rely on two or three remotes to operate my system. Oh well. The ONE thing I wish Samsung would do, and it seems pretty basic, is to include the screws needed to wall mount the TV. Instead, I had to to go to the hardware store. Not how I want to spend my time. I was able to use my existing wall mount kit on the new unit.

I have owned this set for over 2 months now, and have had zero issues. The picture is great. The smart portion, like the guide, apps, networking and connectivity are easy to use, and work with no fuss. Programming the remote to my cable box was all done using the TV on screen guide, and that made it extremely easy compared to how you use to program a remote. I enjoy playing my xbox on it daily. The game mode looks great. This is my second Samsung LED TV. The first I bought in 2012, it was a smart TV, and I never had any problems with it. So when I was looking for a new TV, recently, I knew I was most likely going to buy Samsung again. My budget this time was much less, but I was very happy to find this TV which had checkmarks on all the features that I needed, and was in my budget. I did have a look at Sony, and LG in the store but they didnt obviously top this Samsung in picture quality, price, or features. As a matter of fact, just going solely of the picture I saw in store the Samsung models overall were just better at every price/model jump. The best in the store had to be the QLED Samsung hands down. This TV is not a Quantum LED as my budget couldn't stretch to the 800.00 range of the Q7, but I am by no means unhappy with my purchase. I couldn't be happier. I would have to say I do not like how wide the feet are for putting on a TV stand. They are very wide. Their is maybe 5 inches on each side for overhang. Basically it meant that it would not fit o. The TV stand i had, so i had to buy another stand. My advice would be to do some measuring if you have a stand already, you may find that you too need a new stand. Still give it a 5/5 as the width of the feet is to make it more stable, and does not affect the tv negatively.

I am not much a TV watcher, but since I bought this TV, I now seem to watch a lot. It has a great picture, great color, amazing price, I would absolutely buy this TV again. In fact I may for another room in my house. Easy set up too

Had all the features I was looking for without spending a fortune. Apple TV app is built in, so I don’t need my old box to play my purchased movies, rentals, etc. Also loaded Xfinity Stream Beta app, so can get rid of cable box as well! Netflix, Hulu, and Prime apps are all there Ready to go, and the remote has dedicated buttons just for those 3 apps. Hooking up to WiFi and set up was fast and easy. TV is bluetooth capable for sound bars, but really wanted for headphones to listen to shows at higher volume late at night. Haven’t tested them yet. Sound on its own is decent, however. Picture is great! Colors and blacks are excellent. Haven’t really played any true 4K video on it yet. Works well in brighter rooms too. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the wide/side view (more than 45 degrees) the colors start to fade and wash out. Best when watching from straight on, so I wouldn’t recommend for a really wide room or seating arrangement. All in all, TV has all the latest features you’d need in a smart TV at a really good price-point.

I bought this on a whim one day when needing to play PS4 on a bigger TV at my new apartment. I'd never owned a 4K tv before so I decided to start simple with this Series 7 samsung 50" tv. Totally blown away by this smart tv. It's so incredibly snappy to turn on and off. Ive used smart TVs in the past and they were sluggish. Not this tv. It's quick, smart, and super easy to use. I love how smart it actually is. When I power on my nintendo switch with the controller, the tv turns on too with the switch!! I love this TV, and have it hooked to a soundbar with a sub. That said, the sound is shockingly good for a flat tv. Bass is actually great with movies. Highly recommend this tv.

Got this for my Mom. Her existing TV didn’t have great volume so she couldn’t hear it that good. Easy to set up. Color is good, picture is great and no issues with the volume. Great TV!

Got a great deal on this TV and it was worth the Purchase. Great picture quality and super smart TV with most advanced menu interfaces. Samsung offers free tech support and they can remote into this TV if you give them the pin and help you troubleshoot or fix settings over the phone (they can see your TV screen) to diagnose. This TV is so high tech love it for the value. Only thing I don't like with this new model is you cannot use the TV remote to channel change when surfing Comcast cable channels - you have to use the Comcast remote to change channels... not too big a deal.

I was surprised by the quality of the picture on this TV. The colors are vibrant and the contrast is not too high. The sound is also very loud and can fill up a large living room with ease. I personally prefer to have this hanging on the wall and it was not a burden to do so because is light and it's not bulky. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a decent-sized TV for their bedroom or living room. The Smart features are also very well organized, as Samsung always finds ways to make their products user friendly.

This TV has an exceptional picture in 4k, and as good as can be expected picture in FHD (currently how we are using it). It supports just about every streaming service OOB. The setup including wireless is quite easy. It accepts pretty standard wall-mount rails, although it comes with some long spacers that are indispensable to wall mounting. Your rackmount kit will need 45mm M8 screws to accommodate those spacers (available online separately if needed). All in all, I would highly recommend this model.

My last tv purchase was 8 years ago. I’m very conservative about my purchases and I take the time to research my purchases. This tv has been a pleasant surprise. I say this bc when you can buy a tv and technology at this price, and not have unrealistic expectations then, in my opinion, you should consider this tv. Every consumer has different taste and needs so using reviews to actually make your decision is risky. Also, expert reviews are paid for reviews. You ever hear the phrase “you get what you pay for” well I know that doesn’t always work out for BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar...my point is it’s a $400 tv! Do a little homework and if it’s not for you, remember we have 10 days to return it. You simply can’t beat that! This tv has satisfied my purchase pleasure, along w an awesome picture..it did take a day or two to get use to everything. It was also easy to install. I don’t have it connected via wi-fi bc I don’t need or have to have it. I have my apps running via my ps3 to the tv via hdmi, works great. my ps3 is hard wired directly to my modem. However, I didn’t have a problem connecting to my wi-fi if thats how I did want it. I also went back a week later and purchased a sound bar & sub package, and it was easy to set up as well, just need to be a little patient! Anyway, I hope this helps. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great value at a great cost tv, especially on sale!

We use the TV only for gaming and its been wonderful! The setup was super easy, the picture looks great right out of the box and there is no lag during game play. You will notice a slight washout of the picture if you're going to view this TV from the side, so keep that in mind if you have seating with that type of viewing angle. I needed a good looking reliable TV for gaming at a great value and this TV fit the bill perfectly!

Finally, a smart TV that lives up to its billing. Easily paired with the Samsung Soundbar, quickly and easily connected to other peripheral devices and stepped us through a menu to add our preferred streaming channels. Total set up took less than 30 minutes from getting home until we had a show on. And it looked great once we did!.

I really love this tv it has great features and what a price. It is well worth it and I am very much enjoying it. I would definitely recommend it. I bought the 50" which was $100 cheaper than the 55" but I already had a 50" I was replacing this new Samsung with. I used the extra money saved to purchase the 5 year protection plan. Great deal... awesome television.

Great tv when on sale. Positive reviews in every way except viewing angle is narrow. Checked rtings.com and confirmed indeed you have to sit right in front of the tv to avoid fade out. However, compared to the wider viewing angle LG of same class, the LG remote is more difficult to manage, the color not as true. So we sit in front and enjoy great color and ease of switching between tv/streaming services/cable/etc.

I brought this Tv for my husband as a Christmas gift. He loves it. I like the celerity of the picture, the definition & vivid colors. My only complaint is the volume is not that loud even when on a high number & the buttons on the remote are kind of close together. So you may have trouble pushing the right button.

The 7100 series is an excellent value, great picture, nice size for our house. Our universal swivel wall-mount matched perfectly. Very easy to set up. Have to hunt for features, though. Only one remote included which is an extra expense. Best Buy was the best value, as usual, and the most helpful in-store staff. Thanks!
