Great upgrade

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought a 40" series 6 18 months ago and it had an obnoxious bright red light that came on when you turned the TV off. The TV was for our bedroom so it was impossible to sleep. No way to disable or dim it. If you cover it with tape then the remote wouldn't work, just frustrating. Got this one for actually less the we paid for the 40" series 6 and we have not slept better plus we now have a huge 50" screen. We couldn't be happier!!!
