The TV is light and was easy to set up on top of my file cabinet in my home office. I also purchased ROKU to go with it. The picture is beautiful. Simple controls. Just what I needed for streaming Amazon Prime, Gaia, YouTube, and a host of others I am just beginning to discover.

I bought an 8 series Samsung on accident when one was a deal of the day a few years back and was pretty happy with it (I meant to get an LG but that's another story). When my 8 year old LG died I was happy enough with Samsung that I bought another one rather than another LG. The size is perfect for the space I needed to fill and wall-mounting it was pretty simple. The only issue I have with this one is there's no junction box on the floor to connect all the peripherals into rather than running the HDMI cables (and other stuff) direct to the back of the TV (something my other Samsung has). The picture is great, and the inclusion of the 'TV Plus' channels (a subset of Pluto) with this TV makes it easier to cut the cord if you haven't already done so. The smart features work fine so far (Netflix, Disney+, Hulu) as do the HDMI inputs I've used (Blu Ray and Chromecast). If you're looking for an inexpensive HDTV it's hard to go wrong for the price they're asking for this one.

Great size for the bedroom. I love the remote it works with my other streaming devices. This is the smartest smart TV I have ever seen. It turned on and recognized every device I plugged into it. Setup was a piece of cake.

I have had this for a while now. It is my favorite television. The colors are amazing. The picture quality is the best I have seen. The remote is easy to use. It is easy to use all the features of the television.

We needed to purchase a center pedestal stand for our set up due to the configuration of the TV legs otherwise the set up was very easy. The picture is awesome. The sound quality is very good. I love that it is a smart TV so now we are able to access Netflix easily.

Installed TV on my patio and so far it weathered all high winds and heat. (Temp has not been below 55 since it was installed and don't expect to drop below 40 since I live in Cali. Both the picture and the sound are great the Smart TV aps are a breeze to navigate and use.

Not Samsung's top model, but an excellent buy for anyone on a budget in these hard times. I think the size is excellent for a room 15 to 20 feet wide. Nice color. Looks great wall mounted and does not overwhelm the room

This tv seems fine so far with a good picture and a nice smart tv interface for apps and the like. Sound quality is decent but would be improved with a sound bar or speakers as in many of the newer tv’s. Unfortunately this tv is limited on inputs for older devices and subsequently I could not plug in my older wireless speaker base unit to broadcast to my two wireless speakers sitting on a side table next to me ( my hearing is not great). I did some research and ended up buying a small Toslink converter device for 12 bucks which plugged into the optical port on the tv and then I connected my speaker base unit with its rca jacks i to it. Works great. For normal upgrading of sound a sound bar is best. I have not delved into the digital manual yet but plan on browsing it.

Great TV at a great price. I was able to set it up all by myself and get it up and running. Works very well with my Comcast remote. The picture is a lot more than I expected. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone. One of the best TVs I have ever purchased.

The TV has beautiful colors and the Alexa feature make it way better. I didn't like very much the new remote control design. I liked better the previous one that had the Netflix bottom that made it way easier to access to the app.

It's my first smart TV and I'm quite pleased with it. The interface is easy to use and I've paired it with a Samsung sound bar over Bluetooth, which enables using the single, stylish remote to control the sound as if it came with the TV. The picture is fantastic too.

We replaced a 6 year old Sony Bravia with this Samsung for a Christmas present to ourselves. The price was low. Huge difference in TV's. The picture is fabulous. Very user friendly, easy set up. Even old movies look like they are in 3D. Highly recommend.

I will say right out of the gate that I am a HUGE Samsung fan in general and was very excited to have this become my FIRST Samsung TV. I know some look at it as a "starter" tv, but it fits my needs perfectly. This looks great in my 1BR apartment and fits the tv stand I purchased very nicely. The initial set up took a little longer than expected, but everything was very easy to do. I guess I was not expecting the tv to be that "smart" so thought things would be quicker. TV is sleek and has that great Samsung quality the company is known for. I'm also really pleased with a lot of the pre-loaded picture settings and have also tinkered with a few on my own. I actually do notice a difference in game mode and appreciate it when I actually have time to enjoy a game. LOVE being able to control the tv with voice -- Never thought I would own something like this, so I am very, very happy.

Great picture & Color. Smart...user friendly. I’m using a Samsung Soundbar & Woofer...but I was quite impressed at the quality of speaker that’s built in the TV. Though I’m happy with my Soundbar...You could operate the TV without one. Very Happy with the Series 8

All in all this was a great purchase for $400. Being a series 8 I would definitely recommend this over the lower end models. My two major concerns are the legs of it do not screw in and for some reason online aren't flush. The other is that the panel on the back where the HDMI cords go into looks like you can break easily. When I have plugged in and removed my HDMI cables it looks like the panel could break by using just the smallest amount of force.

Great TV, picture quality is awesome. The Samsung on screen controls are great too. Look no further for a great TV and a solid price. Only negative, I am in love with the remote. It is very small and sleek, I wish it had more buttons (IE, a full keyboard, etc).

Great TV for the price range. We bought it as an early Mother’s Day gift for her room and she loves it. The only complaint is the remote is a bit sensitive for her liking. It’s not elderly friendly.

Very nice picture and sound. The functions are easy to use not many adjustments needed for an excellent experience. The Samsung sevice line provides very good service and stays with you until the issue is resolved.

We are at over 3 weeks and are very happy with the clarity of the screen, the options and apps. The volume is not a 10 of 10, but it is about 8.5 as it could be a bit louder and could have less up and down during shows and commercials. We do have the adaptive volume on, but maybe I'm incorrect in how it works. 3 hdmi ports are just enough for us and very helpful. Ease of use is great. I am not one to be techy and I had zero issues. Set up was a breeze. The feet for holding the tv could offer a bit more stability, but I understand most will mount to a wall. We chose our entertainment center. It is not wobbly, but it just doesn't seem very sturdy. So far we have had no issues with wiggle. I like the simplicity of the remote. Options to connect directly to Netflix and Amazon Prime are a huge convenience. Overall I would definitely recommend this tv and hope it will last for years to come.

Excellent picture. Speakers in the TV not so good. Thin and sleek. The stand could use a little bit more thickness in the legs. Lots of picture options and sound options. Would recommend great for the price. Happy customer.
