Eight and counting and I only look to them now for a affordable, dependable product. Set up is extremely easy and set up a Samsung account and all your tvs are saved in one location. They've streamlined everything so you are surfing in no time at all.

Took a minute to learn to navigate around through the menus. Only thing is I wish it supported PeacockTV app but that’s an issue Peacock and Samsung need to work out. Love the Apple Airplay functionality and built in Apple app.

To be fair, part of the problem was the interface with Spectrum, but that was only a piece. Once we got the issues resolved and the TV working though, it's great!

It has every app that we've needed. The control is amazing as it can control a Samsung Soundbar Speaker we bought to complement the tv. You dont have to use separate controls for both. This smart tv was designed with great quality in mind.

This one was on sale at less than $500. It has everything you need in a Smart TV with a not so bad display. Moving back and forth between the apps is a little bit slow but for its price but this TV works out perfectly fine.

Now let’s just be 100 I’m not any kind of like tv snob so I have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes of this tv. (The specs!) But I needed a TV with a good picture that I can stream stuff on and at a good price so this fit the bill! Can’t speak to the longevity because I’ve only had it a month

Sound issues

TV sound is nice balance but max output is quite low. Con - As many have said, why Samsung not throw in 4 mounting bolts that fit for a wall mount? We had to order an assortment online. The optical sound output is a constant volume and not controlled by the TV/Remote sound. This is silly. Much older TV's forever have had variable sound output. Quote from the TV's owner manual: "You can select which speakers the TV uses for audio output. External speakers may not be controlled with the remote control. When an external speaker is enabled, some sound menus are not supported" Amazing how technology keeps advancing while design is secondary and oftentimes regresses.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 TV and for sharing your user experience connecting external speakers. I am very sorry for the inconvenience you had with installation because wall mount screws were not included.
Please understand that we do not include wall mount screws because not every wall will require the same type of screw. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific screws to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic screw type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting his TV insecurely. In addition, Samsung does not stock or sell wall mount screws.
