It has some issues with audio not matching with video when streaming. Even when the internet is high speed and the router is directly next to the TV. The visuals are good. I don't like the added junk you can't get rid of. There's a bunch of default icons that are at the bottom that are smart featured ones, you can't delete them. For example, I don't have amazon prime, but I still have to have amazon prime sitting there. I don't like that the sound comes out of the back of the TV. If you're getting this expect to eventually want to buy a soundbar.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 and for sharing your experience with lip sync issues while streaming. Please make sure your TV is updated to the latest firmware version featuring improved audio sync features. You can update in three ways: through the Internet, with a USB device, or automatically.
1) Internet: On your TV, navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, and then select Update Now. If an update is available, it will automatically install, and the TV will restart automatically. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. If there is no update available, select OK to exit. Make note of the current version that is displayed on your TV screen to the right.
2) Sometimes, new software versions will be available on Samsung.com before they are available in your TV's Support menu. The latest software version can be downloaded from the download center by selecting your TV's type and model. If the version on the website is a later version than the one displaying on your TV:
a. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
b. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
c. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
d. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.
3) Automatically: You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. The TV updates automatically while you are watching.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
When the background update is completed, it is applied the next time the TV is turned on. If you agree to the Smart Hub terms and conditions, Auto Update is set to On automatically. If you want this function disabled, use the Select button to turn it off.

Need bigger speakers

It appears with today's TVs, slimer is better, but very small speakers come with a very slim TV. It basically requires a separate soundbar.

Makes a great monitor

The only thing I don't like -- if you unplug an HDMI cable while the monitor is on, it forgets the setup for that port.

Thank you for sharing details of the clicking noise you’re hearing from your AU8000 TV. Samsung TVs use a combination of metal and plastic material. These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard. Additionally, certain components within the TV may cause these temporary noises once powered off. Please know this does not indicate a product malfunction, and your TV is safe to use.
Here are a few quick tips on how to reduce the expansion that can cause these noises:
1) Ensure that there is adequate ventilation. Some enclosures may not allow for proper ventilation. This causes the internal temperature to increase and the plastic to expand even more than normal. For recommended ventilation requirements, please see your user manual.
2) Make sure there aren't any heating or air conditioning vents pointing directly at the TV.
3) Verify that the TV is on a flat and level surface. Tilting or an uneven stand can increase these noises.
