The picture on this TV is pretty good. The colors look nice and the clarity is great. I like how the brightness adapts to the light in the room. I don't use the smart functions as I use a Google device for all my streaming needs so I can't speak much if the smart functions. The gaming mode doesn't seem to do a lot as I still notice some motion blur in any mode. The blacks aren't great and you can see the LED's bleeding through the entire screen like an edge lit screen but throughout the screen. That and the price I paid is why I give it 3 stars. I feel I could have gotten a much better quality display for the same price. QLED isn't all it's hyped up to be but all in all it's a decent tv.

We appreciate your thoughts on the picture quality of Samsung’s Q60D TV. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

I like the remote control, the TV, not yet sure. I have it connected via HDMI cable and using eARC to a JBL MA510 driving my 5.1 speaker setup. The JBL is in a closet. Everything is set up correctly per both JBL and Samsung customer service. I have had two problems that I am unable to resolve. The first is that the audio blips out for a word or two every now and then. Can’t find any cause of that. Unless it is a software issue but no way to troubleshoot it and isolate it. I do know it does not happen with the internal speakers. Second problem is that the TV has come on by itself a couple of times in the middle of the night. The TV event log says it was the JBL that turned it on, but JBL tech says no. It may have been the smart things app on the atV doing it so I deleted that app, which I had no use for anyway. So, really not thrilled with the audio dropping out and hoping for a software update to see if it makes any difference. Final thought is that I am wondering if it is the WiFi connection effecting the streaming signal and not the fault of the atV at all. Again, hard to isolate. Sorry for the long review but that’s my story. Oh, picture is fine. Apps are fine. Just would love to not have the audio issue.

I really wanted to like this tv with all the good reviews. I purchased this from another site, but i figured id give a review on here. The tv is clear, but i noticed when watching from the sides, the color is more faint. Pics attached. We also hooked up our bluetooth soundbar and it disconnects everytime the tv turns , or if you pause the tv too long. The volume with the soundbar wont even turn up properly. You click up and it doesnt turn up... you hold it and it MIGHT turn up. Not sure if its our soundbar, but figured id put my findings on here.

Practical choice based on available options. There were more expensive options available but this model provides a great picture at a much more reasonable price. Makes sense based on the overall life span of all brands is basically the same. Samsung offers a full menu of "Smart Options" available on more expensive brands which are easy to access. Highly recommend this QLED Model.

TV is very good picture. The universal remote is terrible. Does not fully control the cable box, and will not let the cable box remote work. Will not control the audio on the sound bar at all. Changing channels from say 65 to 3 is a real pain. Our old Samsung remote will control some functions that the new remote will not. Because of the remote, I cannot recommend ti TV

The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

"50-inch Class" does not technically mean 50" width across (More like 47" across and 50" diagonally). Despite coming up short in standard width wording, this Samsung QLED has good quality picture. I cannot compare it to an OLED. Samsung is a company that is superior in this market and worth its premium pricing. Black Friday makes it that much more reasonable. I will always choose a Samsung over any other brand because of the better picture and craftmanship quality.

I have no issues with this Smart TV. The picture quality is amazing. My TV faces the window and there is no glare. The TV is programmed with so many channels that I know it is not even possible to watch all of them. The Geek Squad rep was very patient and helpful.

Picture is gorgeous. Great blacks. This is on the 50” screen. Sound is mushy on the tv speakers. Interface is cumbersome, difficult and busy. Switching between antenna, gaming system, apple tv and streaming apps annoying. Worse than our viseo which also sucks. But the beautiful colors and blacks help make it tolerable. Although had to buy sound system. And decent number of HDMI inputs plus optical out.
