Good TV. Bright picture. No slow downs when watching action movie. Angle of View also good.

To do this, navigate to: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update

Difficult Venture

This was a very different venture. It took several attempts to order. I paid for an "Open Box" in Excellent condition. It arrived Broken and the box was in horrible condition.
Never used the TV.

I’ve had this tv for a few weeks and so far, it’ great. It is a good size, the legs are sturdy, the picture is great, settings are easy to adjust. Sound could be better. (The louds are really loud and sometimes I can’t even hear what someone says bc they speak so quietly.) (I suppose everyone gets a sound bar now for an extra 2-3 hundred, or more) A couple concerns: the screen seems very fragile to me (but maybe all tvs are like that now?) it was fairly easy to set up but I had support from a tech friend who did most of it for me. I am hoping this tv will hold up thru the years. I got it for a pretty decent price (in the 400s). I have never compared it to tvs that are priced in the thousands but I am very happy, so far, with this tv.

Bought this TV for my husband's office. He loves everything about the TV except for the small remote. He needs to reach for his glasses to see the buttons. Color is great, perfect size, light weight, easy setup. We are using this TV for streaming only and the Samsung platform was a bit unusual to get into Hulu, but we got it to work.

I love my Samsung 50” TV QLED. It was so easy to set up, lightweight too. The picture clarity and quality is great. The size is perfect for our second TV in our bedroom. I highly recommend Samsung TVs.

I wanted to upgrade from my 32" Samsung LED TVs, so I chose a 55" QLED model, also from Samsung. The screen needs coaxing to improve the brightness, because the display is minimally bright out of the box. It lacks optical, RCA, or 3.5mm audio outputs (which the 32" model possesses). I was also rather disappointed on the software end (SmartThings by Samsung): the QLED model does not transmit to phone the audio or the video (something the 32" model does, despite being from 2015!). It does not recognize my console in the eArc HDMI port, having to label it a "Sony Media Player," making it selectable as a source (changing inputs is a convoluted affair, but once you establish it, it now can populate recent apps. The remote would leave many people confused with it's simplified design. To Samsung's credit, they do educate you on how to employ it's special powers.
Once you calibrate the screen, and establish your inputs for easy access on the recently used row, the picture can be bright and vibrant. Soundwise, this QLED set can be paired to Bluetooth, with one of the 3 HDMI ports, soundbars or AV receivers as this set supports Dolby Atmos. It also supports voice commands via Bixby or Alexa. You can also chat with Micro$oft's CoPilot (these latter features, this time, were not avaliable on my previous model!)
Overall, this is a basic model: an upgrade in size from smaller models, but don't expect display settings over 60Hz, or AV i/o other than the 3 HDMI. With a bit of adjustments, most may find this set to be satisfactory.
