I use a soundbar somI can’t comment about the quality of the audio on this TV. The picture is great and it looks sleek. The remote is quite different from previous Samsung remotes but easy to learn and navigate.

Thank you for your review of the 50” Q80A QLED 4K Smart TV. With machine learning, our Quantum Processor 4K enhances pictures from any source into crisp 4K.
You can choose from different Picture Modes to suit your preferences. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode to choose from (Standard, Natural, Movie, Dynamic, & Filmmaker Mode. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.)
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and your content.

The remote is a bit tricky to use because it has a only few buttons. The buttons contain many hidden features. There is a tutorial on the TV on how to use it. It should be watched in order to find the functions that are not readily apparent.

The young man who set it up for us was FANTASTIC!!!! Can't say enough about how thorough he was.

The only complaint I have is the the anti-glare screen, which is the main reason I upgraded to the next series up….. is, let just say, not good. I’ve owned many Samsung tv’s and the usually deliver the features of each model. I’m disappointed to say the least. If you are watching this in complete darkness it’s great, but minimal light sources or ambient light shows on screen on ruins an otherwise great tv.

For optimal glare control, we recommend positioning the TV to minimize incident light falling on the screen or consulting a professional installer.
Anti-reflection designed to minimize ambient light reflection is a feature in our QN85A series and higher.

TV is almost plug and play. I set it up myself. Sound is great, Picture is breathtaking. You can play with the settings to make it to whatever you prefer, warm tones, bright tones and so on. I will enjoy many hours of watching tv and movies as soon as I find the time. lol
