Strolled into Best Buy in hopes of finding a reasonably priced large size tv. Didn't want or need one as large as 60+" and we found this Samsung available. The staff was great and answered all our questions, supported us in some ideas about how to manage our cable with the set and also helped offer suggestions on a planned karaoke set up in the basement. Very helpful looking for enough wrap to protect the tv on our way home and just all around, a good experience. Really appreciated the professionalism and support.

I have the 55" and the 40". Tweak the picture by turning off the Auto-motion Plus (Too much soap opera effect). Viewing angle isn't great. The streaming is great and you can use netflix on your phone to control the TV just like using a Chromecast, but the Chromecast isn't required. You can also cast directly from a Windows 8 or 10 machine with Screen Mirroring. Many great features, great picture, great price.

Purchased this as a replacement for an old console TV. We also purchased the installation and haul away. Had issues getting the installation scheduled. Had issues with installers not hooking the TV up correctly and then giving us an "oh well" before leaving. Took my wife an I to figure out that the installers had plugged the TV in incorrectly. Once we got that figured out, the TV is working great! There are some features that I had to hunt for to figure out and some other features that I don't care for at all (example: Our old TV had the option of Closed Captioning as off, on or on when the TV is muted. The new TV? Off or on. Irritating).

Was looking for a good size tv to fit a long size living room, this was a good price and we were able to price match with Costco to bring the price down even more. Love the tv and it was easy to set up the smart tv part of it too.

I have purchased several TV’s over the last 10 years or so and can truly say this is the best, the greatest TV not only that I have but from others I have seen in others homes. The size, quality, features and options as well as the price. I purchased this set the day before Thanksgiving even though I didn’t go to the Black Friday sales I feel like this was a great buy for the price. The picture is so realistic and clear and I live in an apartment. Love my television.

I recently purchased the Samsung 55” Class LED smart TV and I love it!! This is the third Samsung TV I have bought and I have no complaints whatsoever. The picture is extremely clear from all angles which was important to me for where I have it mounted within my living room. Great product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a 55” LED.

I read up on the reviews before I purchased it on Cyber Monday. The reviews were right! I absolutely love this TV. The picture quality is great! Connects seamlessly with all of my electronic add ons. I suggest this TV for anyone looking for a great TV in this size at a reasonable price.

This is the 3rd Samsung smart TV we have purchased. ( this one a gift) We have very impressed by the clarity and crispness of the picture using a cable hd feed. Perhaps the 4K will be better for blu-ray or as the input signal improves. But for now, we have not seen an appreciable difference to justify the cost. The 2 hdmi inputs seem adequate. 1 from cable feed and 1 from blu-ray player. The built in apps and browser were very easy to set up and work well. All in all an excellent smart TV.

I bought this TV because Best Buy had a great sale going on. I've wanted to get a bigger TV for my living room and I am loyal to Samsung for HD TVs. This TV has exceeded my expectations. The picture is amazing. The Smart TV functions work well, even on Wifi. I would highly recommend this TV, or any from the Samsung HD class.

I love Samsung products so I was sure that my Smart TV would be a Samsung. I wasn't sure which size would best fit my medium-sized living room, but this 55' is perfect. It sits on the mantle above the fireplace. It's very thin. The picture quality is great! Movies and cartoons have such detailed pictures. It's a great pic for my family. We don't use the Smart-TV features as much as I thought we would though. But it's nice to know they are available. Great pick for your family room.

I got this television on sale and I am overall pleased with the purchase. The picture is nice and though 4k has been out, I think I'll wait for another year or two before tapping into that segment. This TV does the job very well. Picture is nice and the features are great. This does have a browser albeit a relatively slow one when comparing it to a desktop. But that's expected because it's not a desktop... I will say that the HDMI ports in the back seem loosely built in as the wires seem to sink in too deeply for my comfort. I feel like I am risking the HDMI component everytime I need to unplug it.

The picture is great. Feels like the charactors are coming out of the screen. Was a bit confused at first setting up the sound but my son fixed that for me and now everything is fine. Only downfall is that I have to use 2 remotes as I could not set up my cable remote to turn on TV and make sound louder. Tried everything.

This TV is pretty much what I expected it to be like! It's thin and light. The graphics are so clear and the sound quality is really good, as if I'm in a movie theater. The only downside to this is that it kind of lags when you choose an app and also when you wait for them to pop up and load. Other than that, I do recommend this smart TV!

Needed a tv for the kids play room. Something on the cheap side but bigger in size. Bought a SHARP AQUOS 55 inch. Lasted 2 months before powering off randomly every 15 minutes. Brought it back and bought this SAMSUNG. Just like the tv's in the rest of our house. Should have done that in the first place. Spent an extra $100 on this one but worth it. Picture is 10X better along with the sound. Works perfectly. Smart tv functions are good but we use rokus instead.

Excellent picture and depth of color. Awesome upgrade from my LCD HDTV! Only complaints are: -Lack of HDMI ports, only 2 so they can sell you a crummy HDMI splitter. -Switching from source to source is slow, can't skip directly to one, must cycle through and it hesitates in each choice. Beyond that I do live this thing and for the price I can deal with those two issues.

This is the first tv I've ever purchased. I knew what specifications I wanted and my price range and this hit the mark perfectly, except it's even bigger than I thought I would get. Love it. I just wish it swiveled (and maybe it does and I put it together wrong).

This was my third 55" TV I tried. The other two were the 4K versions that had a choppy effect when they would convert the picture. Because Xfinity (Comcast) still doesn't support the 4K technology, this 1080p TV is all you need. I am very happy with the picture, sound and price!

I have a fairly large (long Living Room) room for the 55" TV. However I bought it more for getting the channels that my 36" SONY tube could no longer get. The picture is great on the SAMSUNG. My only problem is that I don't have a TV guide as to what is playing on all of the channels that I now have. WZ

Bought this to replace a 47" Samsung I had in my bedroom. Fills my room with picture and sound. The smart function works perfectly. Very happy with this product. If you are going to spring for a TV this big, you're going to want to get a sound bar and sub-woofer as well. I purchased a Samsung sound bar to go along with this TV. The internal TV speakers work fine, but you won't get that big booming surround sound without an external speaker system.

Great TV with integrated smart functions. Color is spot on and the interface with the externals (sound bar, Blu-Ray player, internet, etc) is flawless and quick. We bought this TV for our second home in Florida and we are thrilled with this unit.
