The set-up of the television was easy. The picture is outstanding. For the small speakers that it has the sound is not too bad. The only downside is I haven't figured out how to get the TV to automatically come on when the Samsung BluRay player we have is powered up. Otherwise, a great purchase. (Especially since it was marked down $200.)

This TV met and exceeded all of my expectations. The screen quality and refresh rate is exceptional. The speakers werent as bad as people made it sound them to be.

No surprise here, but this Samsung is awesome! Great picture and color, seamless transitions between screens. Lots of functions: plug and play USB ports, tons of apps in the SMART TV store, PIP, built in web browser and more.

I bought this tv, because samsung is the best!! i am so happy with it, no glare, easy set up which is a plus for people who are not tech savvy! nice pic and you can change the settings for the background which is very helpful, depending on your lighting in the room!! my kids play x=box on it, which they love!! great buy!!

This is our 5th Samsung TV purchase. You cannot find better picture quality in any other brand. And, I'm happy to say that every TV we've purchased has come from Best Buy. I am able to pick up in my local store, they have it ready for me in minutes and I've yet to have any problems with the Samsung products! Plus, this TV was priced right!!!

The resolution is just fine for our large family room; good viewing even from 15 feet away. Smart Hub works great and easily. Really like how we can view photos/slideshows that are on our Dell laptop by just selecting "send to Samsung LED55". No need for wires or copying files to a flashdrive any more. Love it. - JL

This tv was a replacement for a previous TV that we owned and went ka-put. In my opinion the picture quality is good, slightly better than our previous set. I only give it 4 stars because there are definitely better tv's in-store and if if this one weren't heavily on sale I'd have likely gone with a different set. Solid tv for the price though.

I love this TV, it's a great size for the living room in my apartment and the picture is beautiful. My only problem is that the stand was made of plastic to connect the TV to the base. It snapped off almost immediately after putting the TV on the stand. and the base is WAY too small for the TV, it felt like it would topple over at any second. We had to buy one of those entertainment center/table stand for the tv instead.

This is an excellent 55in. TV for the money. If you don't want to spend 4k money quite yet but still want amazing picture quality then this is the TV for you.

very easy to set up. Plugged in the cable box turned everything on the TV searched the channels then they all loaded no need to add anything the smart Samsung TV was the easiest TV to set that I ever owned. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone. Great picture and easy to work controls to go from channels to other sources such as Netfix

I upgraded from a 10 yr old Sharp and what a difference. Crystal clear and lifelike picture. I agree with some other reviews that the TV sound could be better but I use a home av system so it doesn't really matter to me.

I bought this Samsung LED Smart TV the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I already owned a 42" Samsung TV for several years, and have never had anything but great things to say about the quality of the picture. Upgrading to this 55" has been great!! The picture quality is excellent, and the Smart TV features are a nice plus!!! 2 thumbs up!!!

The TV cost me $624, it is from the older SMART LED generation. Dark black and sharp for its resolution. Some cons: As soon as you turn the TV on, your Apps will be unavailable for at least 3 minutes while they load. It is limited to 794 HD channels for some reason, any HD channels provided by your network above that will be unavailable. First dead pixel popped up at exactly day 31 after purchase. Youtube apps randomly gets stuck at "Loading" when attempting to play Ads. Netflix, Vudu apps are solid. TV remote if first gen as well, it is not as efficient as newer models, no keyboard.

I purchased this TV a year after I brought the Vizio 55 inch. I must say this is a much better tv. I love the apps and especially the web browser. The picture is sharper and the sound is so much clearer han the Vizio

Picked up this tv around superbowl time for a reduced price at a local best buy store. They pricematched and got it even cheaper for me! Set it up in our basement and in less than 15 minutes had a kids movie going! Simple set up, but could be complicated depending on how much of the "smart tv" stuff you want to tap into. So far, it's a great tv! especially compared to our 20 yr old rear projection tv we replaced!

I have been looking at this particular Samsung TV for some time, as not only is it a quality Samsung product, but the perfect size and set for the room it is going in to. Picture is very clear and sharp ... and I am very happy with my purchase, and of the usual professional service I get from my local Best Buy store in Avon, Indiana.

We bought this on cyber Monday and chose the option to ship it to the store. It is definitely am upgrade from our last tv. my husband spent a considerable amount of time making sure there wasn't that drag across the screen when things are moving fast, but the right settings make everything great to watch

I was hesitant at first , but after reading the reviews and considered the price I decided to purchase this tv. Wow was I amazed at the picture quality and the size is perfect. I replaced a Samsung 40 inch that costs 1200.00 with this tv. Awesome to watch movies and sports. I also bought the Samsung blue ray player and sound bar.

A great tv. Sharp, versatile and perfect for the "mancave". The internet explorer is slow to explore because there is no keypad and you go one letter at a time but I knew that going in and figure there must be a keypad that can talk to my tv and I just need more tech knowledge. I'll have to have the kids come over and show me.
