Bought this TV via an "open box" opportunity. Was just the right size we wanted and were pleased wth the chance to buy the latest technology at a significant discount. Was easy to hook up with the separate component box system. Picture is so vibrant that we started working on our other TVs to try to replicate that look. Overall, very satisfied with the TV.

I had assumed the curved profile would be a significant improvement, but it doesn't add anything significant that we can detect. The clarity is very good, and operation is relatively simple. We have not yet been able to test the 3-D or some of the more advanced features. The delivery and setup was excellent. We have not had any problems to date.

The 4k is amazing. I watched a video off of youtube and you could see every drop of water that was on the leaf in the rainforest. I also watched a 2D movie in 3D and it was great. I don't know how Samsung did it but it was truly amazing.

Beautiful TV. Picture is amazing, even when paired with non-4k source. Some don't like the curve but we do. Wish the remote included had a keypad but it works well enough. One Connect box is nice and can be easily tucked away behind the TV or in one's entertainment console.

Bought this while on special plus got a 32 inch LCD TV and WD Cinema hard drive. Have had Samsung TV in the past but this curved screen 55 inch is the best TV I have ever owned. Very easy set up and great picture right out of the box. After tweaking a few basic settings the picture looks even better. Highly recommend.

I'm still learning all of this TV's bells and whistles but have been really pleased with it right out of the box. It was easy to set up and the picture is beautiful. The remote is simple and small, which I like. And, the TV itself looks great in the room. The professional reviews of this TV were very good and I would say that I have found their conclusions correct. This is a great TV.

I went ahead and purchased the JS900. I have 2 gripes that are making me reconsider my purchase. The motion blur and judder are pretty bad whether I'm on Netflix, Amazon or Blu-ray. I have played around with the settings and the only way to get rid of it is if I put the TV in game mode which defeats the purpose of most of the functions that come with the tv. The second thing is the screen clouding. While not an absolute deal breaker, It's hard not to notice it. I' m attaching a picture. Now I know that this is to be expected from the edge lit technology but when it's this noticeable it makes me question whether the TV is worth the money. A little about me: I am a stickler for PQ #picture quality# and always like to do research on what I purchase. My last TV was a Panasonic 65 inch VT60. The PQ on that was amazing and maybe I shouldn't be comparing. Before buying the Samsung I read several reviews that raved about it and also spent considerable time reading forums. I'm contemplating several things here. 1. Calibrate the TV and see if this fixes the motion blur and judder. 2. Take the TV back and ask for another set or upgrade to the 9500 or possibly the LG OLED. 3. Return the TV and wait until next year. I'm considering the JS9500 series but I really don't want a tv that big.

Pros: I like the quality of the picture. I like the sound coming from the tv, I don't need any other samsung sound systems. Cons: but this tv freezes on apps a lot, especially youtube, and you are lucky if you can get to broadcast on it from other devices, attach the $30 chromecase and it works great. The remote is so weak and after about a month of use I prefer a bigger remote that is better quality. At the store no body mentioned that there is that box with all ports and a wire to the tv, the tv will not work without it and it is an extra unit you need to take care of. You can feel it heats and hear the fan sometimes. Bottom line: I recommend not get the curved tv because the flat one is cheaper and doesn't have the attached unit, yet same quality of picture. That's what I'd recommend to a friend.

Super nice TV. All the bells and whistles. Sets up easily, looks good in the home. Cant say the same for the remote control. Akward to use and not a random access controller. Havent seem one of those in 25 years, No matter, to me however and I use a TIVO and let its control do all the labor.

I primarily use this as my Computer Monitor. I also have Directv hooked up to it as well, but for 4k content, the internet works best, and really makes this puppy shine! Also, I cant stress enough...how AWESOME 3d is! I have experienced 3d before in theaters and the hokey red and blue glasses.. Samsung has 3d taking to a whole NEW experience! I LOVE THIS TV!

Sales help was limited, and when I was installing the TV, it was unclear how to integrate other devices (Directv, DVD player, headphones, etc). The store didn't have any answers for me and wanted me to utilize the Geek squad, which would have been a lot of money for 1 simple question. The quality of the product is fine, the picture is really bright and beautiful.

At first this TV was not what I expected, coming from a plasma. But after 2 weeks, this has to be the best TV going. Excellent picture and unbelievable in depth resolution. So glad I did NOT go with the OLED. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
