Although more of an entry level TV, this TV has a great picture. I was shopping for a mid-price TV and was favoring an LG IPS 4K HDR unit for just under $600. At the time, Samsung TV's were too much money. The issue with LG is I do not like their smart features. Also, the LG stand places the legs in a position that would not quite fit my application. Later I saw the Samsung 6500 on sale for just over $600 and saw this 4K TV also has HDR, even though Best Buy's specs says it does not. The sale price for the features and next day delivery made this a no brainer. Like all of today's electronics, the remotes have less direct buttons and everything is accessed via the screen menu. Samsung's remote is sparse with no numeric keys. However accessing smart apps is easy without having to leave your current screen. Since I use a cable box and remote, I rarely use the Samsung remote as I can get to most functions, including the apps and setup features, with the cable remote. I found the preset picture settings to be adequate, but found the "Movie" mode to be the best for low light. However, "Movie" mode employees some of the motion and "eco" features so I turned those off. I chose the "standard" mode and adjusted the settings to match movie mode and just increased the back-light for the day time and lamp lighting of the room and use this setting most of the time. All in all I am very pleased with this unit. It worked right out of the box and setup was easy. After a month of use, I have had NO issues with this TV. The only fly in the ointment is the limited angle of view. With the curved screen, the picture is excellent and panoramic when viewing straight on. However, viewing from outside the optimal viewing angle makes the picture somewhat hazy and not as saturated. A flat screen will give you a wider viewing angle, and some other brands give better viewing angles over Samsung. Be aware of this when shopping TV's and make sure the viewing angle works for your environment.

Got this just before thanksgiving and for 614$ this was a stellar deal. Love the picture quality and the curve is simply awesome. The one remote and the OS just adds to the beauty. Overall very happy with this so far

Excellent picture quality, color and sound. Clarity is excellent, the glare is nonexistent, it moves with ease, everyone enjoys it from all aspects of the room. Great for get togethers.

Amazing, good picture. Easy setup. You should use the stand it comes with because it helps angle the curved TV. Where you sit is everything with a curved TV. Well worth the 800 bucks

Saw this in store marked down significantly, probably a display unit. The picture is amazing, curved screen is breathtaking. The remote is quite a treat as it nearly acts as a universal remote for most of my devices. Immense selection of apps. Main issues are the volume is low on certain apps, wish it had a fourth hdmi port, and no hdr...

I absolutely love this TV! 4K viewing with sleek curve for easier viewing while sitting on the ends of a corner couch. I am glad I spent the extra $ to get the curved model and we did get somewhat of a deal because of the "newer technology" it seemed expensive, but I'm a guy so it was well worth it. My family and I never realized the difference it would make compared to a flat TV. Family is happy with the purchase and love watching movies together w/our dogs.

What more can I say. This is the best value for a 4K curved 55 in screen this year Best Buy has a great price matching policy and I couldn't be happier with the quality of picture that I get. I stream a lot of content using the built-in apps especially the Netflix and YouTube apps but still have yet to reap the benefits of 4K Blu-ray but I'm sure it'll look amazing as I've tried 4K streaming from Netflix

This tv was easy to set up after I finally got it mounted which took longer than I would have hope due to my own fault nothing wrong with the tv just didn't have the right mount but after all the struggle I was rewarded with a beautiful crisp picture that I love totally worth it.

I have had this tv that I have purchased from Best Buy now for about 3 month's. I noticed that on the spec info on Best Buys website for this model of tv It mentions that it does not have HDR feature. I'm writing to correct this because this beautiful tv in deed does!

Purchased this Samsung as an upgrade. Picture quality is clear and colors are bright. I really enjoy being able to transfer live content to my Samsung Smartphone when in another part of the house. Voice commands are a plus and works well. Setup was easy especially with a Samsung Smartphone.

The picture is very nice for the cost that you pay for this tv. Also, the remote control size, right amount of buttons, and voice control is really cool and user friendly. Setting up the tv was easy to do with step by step instructions that guide you through the process.

We bought this TV during the Black Friday deals. The picture is outstanding and draws you into the action. I did have to change a few of the settings to eliminate judder while watching some TV shows, but no big deal. I would definitely recommend this TV.

I’m so In Love with My Samsung 55 Inch Curved TV. This is my first tv i ever purchased. You can’t go wrong with Samsung. The Quality is perfect, the display looks so real it’s unexplainable. I was going to Purchase a LG 60 Inch but I changed my mind and bought Samsung instead. No matter what you do do not buy LG . Go for Samsung . The Quality of Lg gave me a headache , I didn’t like the quality , the display sucked . LG is just a simple Flat screen . A friend of mine told me LG does’nt last long. Samsung brings your tv to life lol . You can hook up your internet to the Samsung tv . I really like how the tv shuts off . The remote control is cool and simple . I really love my tv . I purchased the display one that Best Buy had because they didn’t have anymore . I Absolutely Love My Samsung Curved 55 inch Tv .

We love our new 55 inch curved TV. It has an awesome picture and with it being wall-mounted fits perfectly in our medium size living room. Must say that with the wall mount it is a tight fit to get the connections in.

I purchased the Samsung curved 55" 4K UHD TV last month. I had purchased an LG 65" 4K UHD TV over a year ago and waited to set it up after my current TV conked out. My old TV lasted nearly 4 months without incident & finally went to that great recycling place in the sky in the middle of an overtime game during March Madness. I quickly moved the older TV & set up the new one (not as new as when 1st purchased). The TV displayed a large spider web on the right half of the screen. I ran to my Neighbor's house to catch the end of the game. The next day I went back to the Best Buy where I purchase the TV & found out that the TV was broken & I was not able to have it fixed under warranty or replace it or get any type of refund from LG or Best Buy. I was out $1,800, but eventually (6 months later) was able to convince the store that they should at least pick it up & haul it away at no charge. Needless to say, I was not ready to rush out & spend another couple of grand on another TV. I read reviews, spoke with everyone I knew that had purchased or researched large TV's to get their feedback. I went to several different chains to demo different TV'S that were in my consideration set & get advice & feedback from the salespeople & Department Managers & a couple of Store Managers. I even spoke to Sports Bar & Restaurant Owners/Managers that had TV'S with similar size/functionality that I was seeking. I truly did more than my share of due diligence before pulling the trigger. Consensus was that 65" TV'S were too large for the size of my room & how close I would be seated to the TV when watching. Majority praised the Curved Screen Technology from Samsung & said the price had dropped so much since newer technology has hit the market that it was the best deal in decades. It was priced less than half what I originally paid for my larger TV (the one that never worked). This TV does deliver a nice clear picture however the speed of the TV produces a strange viewing experience. IT's more difficult to view the picture clearly from an angle compared to a regular flat screen. This is the complete opposite of what I had been told. Lighting affects the view much moreso than a normal flat screen. The online specs stated it has a 120 rate. It never said it was 120 Hz, but it was certainly implied online under product specifications & even on the packaging & box. My expectations were extremely high before the purchase & maybe I was expecting too much, but I'm not impressed at all about the product. But I have to say my experience with this TV was still a million times better than with my previous Best Buy TV purchase.

I previously purchased a Samsung TV in February 2013 and bought the 5-yr warranty which I’m so thankful I did because my old Samsung started acting up so I took it to Geek Squad in January 2018 (1 month before my 5-yr warranty expired) and they decided to junk my old Samsung (it would’ve cost more to repair than to give me store credit to get another one). So after doing research and reading a ton of reviews, I decided to get this TV and I am so happy with my decision. I’ve had it for about a month now and I just love it. I wasn’t too sure how it was going to look mounted to the wall because it’s curved but it looks great and it really doesn’t come out too far from the wall at all. The picture and sound quality is awesome and it’s fast! A lot of other reviews mentioned the universal remote being complicated but it really isn’t. You just have to play around with it and see what each button does. I learned how to work the remote very quickly and it’s a pretty cool little remote! I would definitely recommend anyone who’s contemplating purchasing this TV to do it. And the price is amazing! (I got it on sale for $650). Make sure you also purchase the warranty because it’s definitely worth it, as I explained in the beginning of this review.

The picture is incredible. I didn’t think the curved screen would make a difference but I was wrong. The curved screen brings out the image as if it floating in front of you. The only negative is that when it powers down it drops the WiFi which can take a couple of mins to re-initialize.

It’s like being in a movie theatre. Curved screen means no glare and with a bigger tv that’s crucial. I love it. Only problem is that I no longer want to leave the house

This tv is everything I wanted and more. It's very easy to use and the picture is clear. Definitely would recommend.
