We replaced our old 32 inch TV with this TV-- what an upgrade!!! We love it-- great picture-- easy to use!! Looks great mounted on the wall in our living room.

This is my first 1080 HD LED TV so I was hesitant when deciding what to buy. After playing around with tehsettings for a couple days, I absolutely love this TV. There is an energy saving feature that dims the picture when the room is darker and this is the most annoying thing on the TV as it is constanty changing the brightness of the TV. Once I figured out how to shut this off, It has been amazing. Take a fews days to set up the picture how you like and you'll love this TV too. My only real problem with this TV is the smart connect; it is very slow and mostly doesn't work. I am used to the speed of a computer or Ipad and would much rather use one of those. This is a lower end smart TV, so maybe they have higher end ones where the smart features work a lot better. I've added a Bose speaker system and a Logitech universal remote so my take on the TV's versions are null and void.

This TV has excellent picture quality. I would buy it again. The CPU is Samsung Smart TV's is underpowered or overloaded with background activity. I don't care much for Samsung apps. I find them cumbersome to use. Amazon Prime is the only app I use. Would like to be able to delete the featured apps. I have no interest in videos from India. I cut the cable a few years ago. I am using a long range UHF yagi antenna, amplifier and an antenna router. The picture quality of channels 30 miles away is excellent. The tuner does an ok job of locking on digital over the air channels. It could be better. I have an external tuner that does a much better job of locking on marginal signals. The Samsung tuners do not allow adding channels to the discovered database. All channels are erased with each scan. Over the air channel memory must be rescanned when changing the direction of the antenna router. The built in tuner is designed for one direction only. I find myself using the $30 external tuner most of the time. Add an Samsung Blue-ray player with surround sound, Apple TV and an iPad to this TV and you have a great system.

The sound and picture quality make you feel like you are part of the action. It's the best television I've ever owned. It was also easy to set up and use. Very glad I chose this model.

THis is our first large HD TV and we are very pleased with the good picture, and good color. It makes watching TV a pleasure. The interface for the smart channels is easy to use.

I researched and looked at several TVs. Opted for this 55". While side-by-side comparisons in the stores is good, a lot depends on how the stores have the set adjusted. And one thing for sure - the lighting in the store will not be the same as home. Once I got the TV home and after a few easy adjustments the picture quality was excellent. We have a large room with lots of light from nearby windows. In past glare was a problem. Not with this screen. More than enough input and output connections. I hooked a Sony sound bar to it for everyday normal "non theatre" viewing/listening. Very nice enhancement. Great TV.

This TV is one of the most simple to set up I have ever owned, it has a very logical flow to the set up that any senior person coul manage easily. The standard apps that come with the TV are enough to get any techy started, with the many apps available from Samsung there are lots more there for the gadget folks. I also have a Samsung phone and it is very easy to set it up to contropl the TV as well.

This TV replaced a several year old 40" Samsung. I considered a 60" or 65" but at time of purchase this was discounted heavily enough that the premium was not worth it. Ditto on the up-range models with thinner bezels. My biggest complaint is that input options are locked based on input name. For instance, if you name an input PC, it is no longer possible to change the picture settings to Movie mode, which is a drag since my HTPC is my Blu Ray player. Also, it has only three HDMI ports which is probably enough for typical (DVR, console, other console/optical media player or, in my case, HTPC, console, and one for a laptop) use but doesn't leave you any to spare. I believe the audio pass through may also be stereo only, double check before purchase if that's a concern. Other than that this is a fine set that should serve well until OLED Ultra HD sets come down in price and content for them comes into existence.

This is a fantastic LED TV, great picture and clarity. Excellent small frame size and extremely lite to wall mount.

Very sharp picture, great color and has a great sound system. Had it since Black Friday with no problems or issues.

We love our new 55 inch television. The HD is so sharp, and DVD's look good on the screen too. The sound by itself is not the greatest but that is because the television is so thin. After a couple of weeks we bought a sound bar, wow, the sound now with the nice picture makes it hard to want to ever go to the movie theater again. Very happy with for us at least a major purchase. Get the sound bar when you buy the TV. We paid extra to have the Geeks deliver;set up and haul away our old set. Worht every penny, they were very polite and professional. All in all a positive experience.

This is a great TV. It is very thin so it looks great mounted on the wall. The only problem with mounting was that there is only one HDMI input that is flush with the back. I had to by a pivoting HDMI to get the other to be close enough to the back. The picture is excellent and it looks great in the energy saver mode. The sound quality is OK but not great. It's pretty much what you would expect from small TV speakers. The only features of the smart TV I have used so far are Netflix and Pandora. They both work well. I would definitely recommend this TV to a friend.

picture quality is amazing love watching it, easy to set up, has alot of apps to use. The sound is not so great when there is a lot of bass so I mute the tv and use my surround sound speakers. love having the 55 inch screen and it is light for it's size

The picture is sharp. The TV set its self up-nice and easy to use. The major negative we found: there aren't many connections in the back to hook up stereo, dvd, wii, etc. - had to get adapter.

Love Love this TV! Beautiful color. Love Love it! Slim and a powerhouse of features. I wasn't sure I wanted a Smart TV - but this TV has it all!

This tv was definitely worth the money. The sound is really good. I do miss the sound feature so you know when it turns on. The media hub is sometimes slow. I know it is not our internet because we have 100Mbs. Once I was logged in I didn't have to login again. Some videos on youtube or other videos do not work. For some reason you cannot view Vevo on youtube. I do like the 4 hour shutoff feature so if you fall asleep it automatically turns off after 4 hours. This can be disabled. One thing about the remote its not as bright as our other Samsung.

This 55" LED SMART TV has great picture quality and ample adjustments through the menu. Unfortunately the slim bezel design means down firing speakers which produce poor sound quality. There is also excessive overscan on the Zoom 1 picture setting size and no option for a "Just Scan", "Fit to Screen", or similar choice to minimize overscan without significant picture distortion as when choosing 16:9. The remote is a standard type which makes accessing the SMART internet connected feathres difficult to use. The remote with keyboard shown on the Best Buy showroom floor is apparently an optional item which should make internet connectivity features much easier to use.

This TV is exactly what my family wanted. We can watch all the movies we want on Netflix, as well as on DVD. Great size, color, and sound.

Has been a great viewing experience since I purchased this hdtv. The only thing I notice is that I have turned off the dimmer that controls the brightness of the picture according to the light in your room and it still seems to dim slightly. Other than that the picture is beautiful and the sound is good. Much better after I hooked up a sound system.
