Overall fantastic TV, the one thing that bugged me is that within a couple of weeks I could hear an audible clicking sound. After a couple of months however the clicking sound is not noticeable at all. This could be due to the warmer temperature because it's summer time at the moment of this review, but I still think this TV was worth it. The sound is good the picture is great and the smart features are very good.

Overall, this is a great TV for the price especially considering it having a true 120hz panel. It's only a slight step down for the Q series, which isn't worth the extra money in my opinion. The Q series definitely has better color with side-by-side comparison, but at home you won't notice any difference. Only complaint is the built in apps and advertisements at the home screen, but I got used to these in a few days.

Best TV EVER! Crystal clear picture, works with all of my devices.

The 55" version of this TV fits the bill for most of your needs. If you are like me and want crisp sports, upgraded 1080p content, and dipping your toes into 4k, you will be pleased. Low profile bezel, good picture (viewed ~8ft 0 to 20 degrees dead on). I would suggest following the RTings.com picture settings for best results. I turned off most of the motion blur and eco settings for best results . Sound quality is adequate, though a cheap sound bar will work wonders. Typical Samsung menus, but if you are in the samsung ecosystem there will be no huge suprises. I recommend this over the LG and Sony comparables. If you want the best, go OLED, but for the casual viewer, this is solid. Don't pay 900 for this set, 700 to 800 can be found if you are patient.

This TV is awesome and was so easy to use with our existing components. It was compatible with our Bose sound bar and the apps were so much easier to use than our older Sony Bravia smart tv. We didn’t realize how pixelated our older Sony Bravia TV was until we brought this baby home!

The Samsung 8000 series TV is as good as it gets in a Smart TV without going to the QLED series. Easy to set up and best picture in LED TV. This is my fourth Samsung and they all have been reliable and best picture. If you don't want the latest QLED, the 8000 series is the one you want.

We had to replace our old Samsung TV that lasted for many years. We stayed with Samsung for the quality of the product. The picture is solid. Really not a huge difference between 8000 and the Q6. You would only notice a huge picture difference if you look at this 8000 side-by-side with a Q8 or Q9. Compatibility with our newer devices is awesome. I was surprised at how well it communicates with our Apple TV; remote and all. The only cons: No coax connection for our old Wii and I haven't been able to get local channels over the air (I admit that might be a user error). I am not keen with all of the extra smart TV features (that is only a personal preference). The learning curve is taking a bit longer since the technology has changed so much from our older Samsung. OVERALL. This is an awesome TV and I would recommend it for someone wanting the quality 4K experience and doesn't want to pay for the newest model on the market.

Has an impressive picture quality. HDR content playback is excellent as it can produce bright and vivid highlights with very accurate colors. Motion handling is excellent as the TV has a fast response time and the ability to flicker the backlight to make motion crisper.

We have been a Samsung TV loyalist for years and this model continues the trend as it has been a great addition to the game room! Super clear and easy to use... Not always a fan of the interface, but I am familiar with it.

This TV has clear images and very stylish. The sound is pretty decent. I never had an lagging or buffering during streaming a movie. When watching Cable TV connected via 2.2 HDMI the picture is super clear. I love watching action movies due to the 240 Hz refresh rate.

Amazing sound, pictures, and remote! The tv I got on sale for 800! It is absolutely worth it. It displays amazing pictures. The sound is amazing as well, sounds like a theater. It’s very easy to set up! Don’t hesitate to buy this tv, just do it! You won’t regret it!

I love my new tv! The picture is so clear and bright. I enjoy all the apps that are available. It is easy to use. The smart remote is universal and works with all devices I hook it up to. I am still getting used to it, but I am the master of the remote now!

Initially purchased a 6900, then exchanged to a 7100. It had great picture but noticeable ghosting. Then I upgraded to an 8000. This 8000 has amazing picture and since you can adjust the judder with it being a native 120 Hz refresh, this is what I wanted. Gorgeous!

Picture unlike any I've seen before.Simplified television.. goes right to the dvd input automatically for example. Samsung Support is superb.Having an occasional problem losing connection to the Xfinity wifi.Need to find out if the problem is the wifi or the TV.

Purcheased this for the Man-Cave. Pic quality is great, I could not be happier. Love hte Samsung feature with the smart TV and remote. The remote controlls so much more than just hte TV, It will even work with your Amazon firesticks. definatelly a great purchase

Very happy with my purchase. Setup was a breeze. Modern and sleek remote is very easy to use and allows for quick navigation between apps and channels. Color on TV is fantastic and super clear detail when watching sports. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Bought this 3 days ago and for the last 3 days it has been pretty disappointing given the price. I didn’t expect to be disappointed with a TV every day, but so far my basic HD flatscreen was ten times smarter than this “smart” tv is. I expected better from something that for me costs a lot. First, I use Direct TV Now not Cable and it takes at least 10-15 seconds for the picture to become bright and full quality. Switching between shows it still takes time to switch from dull to UHD. Netflix is the same, the TV Plus app also the same. Samsung customer service tried to tell me its my internet service, so I hooked up an Ethernet cable and still same results. Did three speed tests with my internet, all three even directly connected by Ethernet has a download speed of 117mbps. Second, picture had issues with the soap opera effect and picture shaking, after reading all about those issues people have had I turned off those settings and still had the picture shaking. Samsung customer service played around with the settings so I am keeping an eye on that. Third, on the second day the remote didn’t work, only the power button worked. After looking up those issues people have had the only way I could get the remote to work was to unplug the tv and plug back in. Frustrating to say the least. The remote would not pair to the tv no matter what troubleshooting method I tried. Would I have better luck with the picture quality if I had regular cable? Who knows, but I’m not signing up for it to find out. Samsung customer service told me nothing was wrong with my tv, they absolutely nuts considering my internet speed is fine. I still haven’t decided if I will return the tv, I still have an open window for returning.

I love this TV. It has everything you need right in the tv (Netflix, Hulu, Prime) plus you can download other apps such as HBOGO and Showtime. The picture is super clear, very colorful and vibrant and I’ve gotten many compliments from friends and family.

Great size for a pretty large room , comes with a Smart Remote , a lot of Apps installed ... Ease of use ... Recommend a sound bar for Clarity of sound when people are talking but I would recommend that for every TV ...

I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The UHD is amazing and the sound is great. The TV is the perfect size for my living room and is very easy to see every detail of my favorite movies. The best part was the value for the price of this TV
