By end of day or next day need sound at 100% to hear. Self diagnosis corrects this but already tired of this ritual. So far screen has also gone blank a few times although sound is still on. This may last for 15 seconds or more. Tried self diagnosis on this but have been unable to correct this problem. Have tried changing from variable to fixed (TV) on sound to no avail. As others have noted, for 1k I expected better quality throughout the system.

I gave it 4 stars because the Spectrum app freezes up every once in a while. Apparently Samsung and Spectrum have a contract, and one of the reasons we bought this model was so we didn’t have to buy another Roku. All in all, we are very happy with the purchase.

Added it to my outside deck area with two other older (about 2 years) model samsung TVs; one 55 inch, the other 60 inch. Of all 3 TVs, It was interesting to see all my guests as the evening progressed end up watching/facing to watch the NU8000 series. Picture clarity was awesome!
