Great TV for my family room. Intuitive features, integrated smoothly with my Dish Network service and existing 4k Blu-ray player. HDR function produces a great picture! This TV was an excellent fit for not only my home but also my budget.

I tried to find a good smart TV in the $500 range but each TV at that price point has at least one kind of negative. The 55 inch Samsung NU8000 was only a short step up but had good reviews in all categories. When I saw an open box at a reduced price it clinched the deal. Connectivity, picture quality and usability have all been good. Be aware Samsung uses the Tizen operating system so it's not the same as a Roku. Tizen is OK and has apps for all the major video providers. However there were a few more obscure Roku channels that weren't available in Tizen. I just attached my Roku to the TV for those channels. The sound is good for a smart TV but I still send the sound through my receiver. I like that it came with a center stand instead of two feet at the ends. All in all I'm happy with this purchase.

Matched with the 3.1 speakers it makes for a great TV experience. Smart TV is a real asset along with the Apps that come with it and can be added. For the price range it is one of the better TV's out there. Easy to set up and sync with WiFi

I made sure to research before purchasing and this TV has not disappointed. A great quality TV in the under $1000 price point. Great cross section of quality vs. budget. Easy to set up and user friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I love this TV, the color is amazing and the crispness of the picture is to die for. I'm so glad I picked this TV out. I had help from the knowledgeable salesperson who clearly knew his stuff! Buy it, you will not be sorry....

When looking for my new tv I searched several places and found this to be the best price. This tv has everything I needed built in for what I wanted in a tv. Easy set set up, very slim and no bulky stand to contend with.

I got this tv as a replacement from geek squad. It wasn't what I wanted to get but my only option. But im pretty happy with what I got, the picture is great for what the price point was and the smart remote works a lot better that the samsung that it replaced. Only real complaint is the stand isn't very sturdy and had an unattractive design.

My BF is very very particular of TV picture quality, refresh rate, and sound. It past the test! Nice midrange / midgrade quality 4K TV. The smart remote programming needs improvement. I should be able to validate my yes / no response by pressing a button on the remote (especially since the voice response does not always make out answers).

This Samsung 8000 is better than expected, the picture quality is flawless. It’s the first smart tv I have owned and the apps work great. I waited three weeks to post to ensure no problems and I am happy to report no issues.

Great quality for the price. 55'' and above have a higher refresh rate ideal for videogames. It's compatible with airdrop and has a fair and easy to use menu. The speakers are not great, you need a sound system to compliment it. this is the best quality besides a QLED tv.

Great picture, easy set up, HOWEVER, Samsung placed a Beta version of Direct TV in its memory. The Beta version has a sound issue with about 1/4 of the stations, ie no sound. Direct TV says to download the current version of their App, but since its been preloaded by Samsung, we can't. Great TV IF you don't use Direct TV.

The Samsung NU8000 series televisions are awesome! The Q series might give a slightly better picture, but unless you have very discerning eyesight, there is no difference. And there is a big price difference. I love the voice control remote but it does take a while to get used to. My only negative thing was in using a Bluetooth mouse. I had trouble getting it to work after I successfully paired it with the TV. Neither the Geek Squad nor Magnolia people I spoke to had an answer. So I contacted Samsung and was told that the mouse is only supported in their Internet application window and that mouse support is application dependent. Hopefully Samsung will become an industry leader and have mouse support for everything in the future.

This set had been reviewed highly, and we weren't disappointed. Great color and brightness, no obvious reflections when the screen is on, and the 120 Hz refresh rate (on 55" and up) has been great for sports.

Easy to install and setup. Great picture using antenna about 30 miles from transmitter. I would not advise using the tv's USB to power the antenna amp. Caused strange effects on the antenna reception.

Great picture...so clear with vibrant colors. Easy to use and maneuver between the many features.

Hopefully my happiness with this new tv will last as long as it did with the previous one (11 yrs). Picture is crystal clear. Set up was super easy. It is slick looking. Intuitive and wonderful to “work”!

I love this new television. It was easy to set up and to use. Also the remote control synched well with my new Samsung sound bar and with my cable TiVo box. I only need one remote to control everything.

This is a great tv. It was very easy to set up. I had to learn what the ARC HDMI port was, but after talking to someone at Best Buy, it really simplified hooking all of my devices up to my TV. Great picture.

This recent purchase is my third Samsung. Each Samsung purchased was an improvement over the previous model. This particular model is by far the best TV set,both in picture quality and color.

Spectacular Picture, great smart features, ample HDMI inputs as well as RCA inputs, HDMI out and optical out for sound bar application. Tv will not adapt to Verizon controller which is bothersome.
