Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the 55" Class Q80T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV's picture quality, describing it as amazing and standing out. They also appreciate its easy setup, especially when connecting to Wi-Fi, and find it to be a great value for the price. While some customers have concerns about the cheaply made remote control and the presence of ads, many agree that the TV's overall quality makes it worth the investment.

The Samsung was “a lemon” in the words of the technician who tried for over 2 hours to repair it. It had to be replaced. I was without a tv for over 2 weeks as I attempted to navigate the controls, unaware that the tv was defective. It took another three days to replace it with an LG

I'll start with the most important thing we couldn't watch it from more than 2 hours at a time without getting severe headaches in our temple and when we stood up we felt like we were going to be nauseous when we looked into this we found out this is called digital sickness and it comes from over brightened LED TVs The last TV we had was an OLED it was a c7 by LG we also have an OLED c8 which these are wonderful TVs but I wanted to upgrade to a 20/20 TV from a 2017 TV. I had heard great things and I gave occasionally but the main thing was I didn't want to have to worry about burning and the cue led say they give you 10-year warranty against burn-in well that doesn't really matter if you're nauseated watching TV and I tried every setting I know about turning the true motion off so it's only 24 frames per second like the director intended and of course I adjusted the brightness The only way we could even slightly tolerate it was having it so dark that we couldn't see anything and when you lower the brightness on a Samsung it creates a haze instead of just bringing down the back lights and it makes it hazy. Long story short we brought it back 2 days later I reset it brought it in and they did not have a TV for me to exchange it with I wanted either the LG CX-10 but I still didn't want to have to worry about burning and on labor day that was 1450 which is a good price so we walked around and we came down to two choices the Sony 900H and the Sony 950 h which are both full array backlit TVs LED LCD the 900H I found out the processor was made in 2018 even though it's still considered a 20/20 TV so I looked up the ultimate X1 processor which is in all of the OLEDs and when I got to looking at the TV and several of the videos that were posted on the main wall I knew that was the one for me well they were out of stock that day so I just got refunded I waited till I saw it come back online and as soon as I said adds a card I went to the store I ordered it and I believe I bought it September 16th and my birthday was September 21st and I was lucky enough to get it by 11:00 a.m. on my birthday that was super awesome . So now I've had the Sony 950H since September 21st and it's October 4th going on the 5th and it has an amazing picture when you get the settings dialed in and I'm a man of perfection when it comes to dialing in the picture . You literally on the Sony have to set the picture for every app meaning Amazon you have to set up then if you switch to Netflix you the settings don't stay the same you have to set them up then if you go to regular TV you have to set those settings up then if you get to an HDR you have to set those settings up then if you switch to an HDMI you have to set those settings up now the good news once you're done they all stay the same which makes for a fantastic picture and an easy switch you usually have four settings vivid standard cinema and custom and custom or standard are usually the best in 4k standard or vivid are the best. Anyway this is about the Samsung it had some good features it could have been used as a desktop monitor but even when we're watching basic cable the picture would freeze and then one second later it would pick up again so that was another flaw I did not like how many things they wanted me to agree to before they would let me even turn the TV on and watch free cable, but once I got it rolling it was okay it took me about 2 hours to set that TV up and it says it comes with Google Assistant that is a lie you get bigsby which is trash and Amazon Alexa they promise Google Assistant but when you read the fine print even on the TV box or even on the ad in Best buy it says Google Assistant may not be available yet depending on when you purchase this TV pending update wow I bought it the beginning of October of 2020 so the TV's almost a year old and they couldn't have added Google Assistant garbage my whole house is Google everything is set up on nest from the Central hub to the Waze cameras and the smart outlets the smart surge protectors all run wonderfully off of Google and I don't want to change to Alexa I gave Samsung another try after the last two TVs I had failed after only one year one of them was edgelet cuz I didn't feel like spending money on a TV at the time and the edge lit was at the bottom because I could see the bright white beam of light shining through the TV while watching it luckily it was under warranty and they just let me trade it in for a better TV and the other one was an 8000 series which was supposed to be their top of the line at the time and that was I think one of the first backlit TVs will LED backlits that I had and the contrast was horrible the blacks look terrible so again after about a year the panel started flickering some of the back lights had issues this is what they told me and that's when I finally sprung from my first OLED and oh my god did I love it I still love my c8 I'm watching it right now anything from 7:20 to 4K looks amazing 7:20 looks like full HD full HD looks like 4k 4k looks like 8k if you ever buy an 8k 55 inch TV you're an idiot because you will not notice the difference the TV's too small AK is made for 77 inches or larger. Seriously though buyer beware of digital sickness and gamma poisoning from any of the q lead HDR 10 plus TVs like the q 80T the q90. And let me add this tidbit Samsung makes so much money it's only $3 to add Dolby vision to a TV set and they don't do it Hisense does it TCL does it Vizio does it everybody else does it Samsung you need to stick to solid state drives cuz that's all you're good at

PAID TO MUCH FOR TWO tvs. one tV has problems. If I was with my husband I would not have paid so much. ZI do my research. actually when by to 50 inch tv. you should get a break in price. I am buying a cannon Super Tank printer but trying not to buy it from you.

Seems like it will do as advertised. Need to figure out all the bells and whistles, but I am reasonably satisfied. I was disappointed that it was missing some of the installation parts. After several calls to the service center and many disconnections, I had to purchase them from a local hardware store. The blame however, lays on Samsung, not Best Buy except for the difficulty in trying to get what I needed.

First time Smart TV buyer who did moderate amount research on TVs. Using BB website, ease in setting up appointment to review options & availability in store along w/a very knowledgeable sales associate, made the decision to go w/Samsung. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 supply of the TV size I wanted wasn’t going to happen. So far so good. I now realize what I’ve been missing in TV offerings & the Samsung product.

Love it! The quality while gaming and/or streaming is totally worth the cost. The visual settings are top-notch. The audio threw me at first since it adjusts to the surrounding sounds. Overall it is a wonderful product and I highly recommend purchasing it.

Bought and returned 2 Samsung TV’s in the past year “hoping” for an improvement but had similar issues with both. Each one had some issues as it pertained to ambient lighting conditions. May been too much TV for an average rowhome living room as there are big swings between day and night ambient lighting as my house receives more sun in the afternoon, couldn’t quite get a reasonably comfortable picture. Picture quality was best at night in low ambient lighting conditions, but too bright during daytime conditions, regardless of adjustments. The smart TV functions and integration was great, but picture did not meet my expectations. Suggest a bigger area to view this TV. Spent a little more and switched to a Sony Bravia and am quite pleased with that.

It’s a great Tv! I got it for my series X and I couldn’t be happier. Only downside is that it reflects light TOO GOOD. Even that isn’t a problem, I wish it had more than one 2.1 port but considering I don’t own a PS5 yet that’s not a worry of mine

We knew we wanted a smart TV, but didn't know how to sort through the options. The salesman was awesome in asking questions to figure out what TV would be best. He was right. The installer was thorough, neat, patient, and careful. Explained everything. Very pleased.

Great so far, after a month or two of use. Purchased 2 other Samsungs (different models), one of which had horrible viewing width and the other arrived broken. Third TV was the charm. Integrated nicely into my home theatre and Harmony Remote setup.
