I've heard the 2020 models aren't that good but I'd say they are wrong. I previously bought the 70r. Had to return because of issues with freesync. I purchased this one for multiple reasons. Hdmi 2.1. Full array. 55" works for my game room, freesync and vrr. It out performs the 70r in every way. Better picture. Freesync works great. The colors are so good and I've never really seen oled but the blacks are really great. I 100% use it for gaming. Thought about oled but am scared of burn in. Play long hours and think it would be an issue for me. Now all I need is the series x and I'm good to go! Highly recommend this tv for gaming. Can't speak about regular programming.

I have had this Tv for over a year now and I still love it. The picture quality is beautiful! I don’t use a sound bar at the moment because the tv speakers set on amplify mode do a good job. I also connect my Bluetooth headphones sometimes. The remote is the best Samsung remote I have used with a Samsung tv. (The old remotes used to have an annoying lag). I would highly recommend this Tv!

So I'm terrible at reviews but TV good. Second tv I ever bought and it's my first time seeing anything in 4k. I had a 3D samsung tv (forgot what it was called) for 8 years. Only had this tv it for a month but so far I love this one alot more. It looks amazing and it already had the apps I mostly used. Also enjoyed gaming on my ps4 with it. As of now I have zero problems with it and I'm glad I purchased this for my first 4k tv.

So far it’s a nice upgrade over my old non-4K TV. More expensive than some, but after doing some research I bought this as it should take good advantage of the next gen gaming consoles without spending 2-3 times the price. It has a function to turn the Xbox on and off with the TV, but that was a little fiddly and giving some connection issues when switching inputs, so I turned it off. Not really necessary though, so not a big issue.

I did some heavy research for maybe 4 months and I landed on the Samsung because it was my most budget friendly option. I wanted an OLED, but I was afraid of the minor burn in that can happen with the original TV I wanted. But the picture and sound with the Samsung is honestly great. When you watch something that was made in 4k it's very clear, bright, and smooth. Gaming is great as well.

I really like this tv. It has a beautiful picture and is pretty easy to use. The ambient mode is also a nice bonus. The only issue we are having is the inability to get our Bose v20 surround sound to work with this tv. It was fine on the old tv and the salesman told us there should be no problem hooking it up. Well it is a problem. I guess I’m going to have to find a geek to help me.

This is our first 4K TV, upgrading from a 10-year old. Also our first smart TV used with multiple inputs. Overall I am floored by the picture quality, of course that is to be expected from upgrading from such an ancient TV. Pros: -Excellent picture quality; vibrant colors and very bright -Looks like it can pretty much display true black which I thought was only an OLED thing. Either way the contrast is very good and it's nice not having that LCD glow in dark scenes -Fast startup -Tizen interface is relatively easy to navigate and sufficiently fast for app loading -It's awesome these days how smart TVs like this can auto-detect inputs and switch so easily -Surprisingly decent sound for a flat TV -Unless you looked at them side by side, you probably wouldn't notice much difference between this and a Q90T -Ports are easy to reach Cons -SmartThings interface is a bit awkward, but it's nice to be able to control the TV with a Samsung phone if you have one. This is just me nitpicking Other thoughts -I hooked up an UltraHD/4K blu-ray player and shows like Planet Earth II are unbelievably stunning. The Expanse is another show that looks great. Definitely worth investing in a 4K player to fully utilize the TV, as 4K streaming content is still somewhat limited (and ultimately not quite as good as from a physical disk) -I bought this as an open box for a discount, though I think the TV is still well worth the regular price new

I tried a few budget TVs before this one but returned them. You see specs when comparing online, reviews, etc. but actually notice all the finishing touches on this Samsung including a superior picture of course, interface features, add’l settings not found on the budget brands, and so on. Just top notch quality all around, nothing is skimped on at all. I tried to game on a Hisense H9G but in game mode it had horrible quality. Washed out and blurry (1080p PS4). The Samsung makes my PS4 Slim look like a PS4 Pro with about 10ms of lag, insane! Night and day difference, I was shocked. And it has HDMI 2.1 for next gen consoles. If you have the money or can save up and wait, go for the premium brand, you won’t regret it and it’ll last you a lot longer down the road vs a budget brand or model.

Even though I'm not using the 4K resolution frequently, the picture quality is excellent. This is the first smart TV that I've owned so it was very interesting to see how many features are available. Setup was very easy and getting used to the apps aspect using the simple TV remote are taking some getting used to. I've also eliminated my cable box from Spectrum and saving us money.

I still have my Samsung plasma TV that is still going strong with a beautiful picture. Recently, I added a new Samsung UHD QLED to a second room, I choose a 55" QLED Q80 series. Because I love watching concerts and movies, it was important that I choose a high-end Blu-ray player. I chose an OPPO because the OPPO will upgrade the quality of the DVD you play. And it is built like a "rock," not cheap plastic. Yes, it costs more - but if you love movies and concerts - it's work the extra cash that you pay. The results is - the Samsung displays a breathtaking picture. Love it.

Great image quality, lots of functionalities and settings, the smart OS is very clean and easy to use. The Intelligent mode that changes brightness depending on the light conditions of the room was a little annoying as it would turn brightness very low when low light. Ended up deactivating the eco mode to avoid this issue. Overall is a great TV. Worth it!

What a great tv! The QLED and 4K qualities are superb. The picture quality makes you feel like you are standing right on the set during filming. I kid you not. Many, many times better than 1080hd. Even shows from the past are enhanced past HD. From old sporting events to classic 40's movies. With a 4K blu ray player, same with DVD's. I couldn't be happier.

Delivers crisp images with its fast response time, as well as a good HDR experience with its wide color gamut and high peak brightness. Input lag is extremely low, it has a 120Hz refresh rate, and to top it all off, it has support for variable refresh rate technology to reduce screen tearing. As a whole, this is a great choice regardless of the content that you watch.

Very happy with this TV. I did a lot of research to find out which TV's had the least glare and Samsung's top of line sets consistently came out on top. Opted for the 80T instead of the 90T because aside from HDR the two models test virtually identical in every other respect. The minimalist remote control does take a little getting used to.

Good picture & sound. Installed temporarily in less than ideal location: above a fire place. Even so, overall audio and intelligibility are good, plus the picture holds up well at the viewing angle. Apps are plentiful and easy to install. So far, this has done nothing but streaming from a mesh network and done so without any problems whatsoever.
