Really nice tv just beware of ads.

Ads should not not be on a tv besides the awful ads especially in the menu bar and samsung tv is the absolute I'm glad i was able to disable it. All in all this is a ok tv I like watching 4k and video games look great

Bad app

Installed my FireStick used on 10 year old Samsung and NetFlix is great. Bought it to eliminate many remotes. Still have to use three. $50 FireStick made the TV a great TV. 1-27-2021

You may also want to optimize the smart TV performance by running the Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.

The zone dimming overcompensates to avoid light bleed and the screen excessively dims. The is could use some work. Ambient mode would come on randomly by itself after powering down the tv. The screen would randomly display an error message stating the remote was not connected when it was. Overall I loved the picture, but the bugs drove me to return the Q80t and go with the Sony x950h

Wasn’t worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a old Sony Bravia that I bought back in 2013 at Best Buy. which is a regular Sony LED TV . And it out performed this new Samsung Q80T surprisingly. The picture was clearer On the regular Sony LED . And the whites were whiter then the Samsung Q80T . Even gaming looked better on my old Sony with better input lag then this Samsung Q80T . $1,400 after tax and everything didn’t even come close to my expectations. Plus the colors looked washed out on the Samsung Q80T . And the sharpness and clarity was dialed in as much as I could get it . Still wasn’t enough ugh .... then after spending $1,400 bucks now they want me to pay another $250 to calibrate it “ I don’t think so” that would of put me up in the $1,650 range after doing that . Just wasn’t worth it look else where . Sony TV are the best in my opinion.
