I will preface this by saying that I initially wanted to purchase the Sony X900H, but decided on this TV for a number of factors. Picture Quality: Colors are extremely vibrant and motion handling is very strong. The blacks are not as black as the Sony by my eye, but they are acceptable. DOES NOT have Dolby Vision which is a minus Ports/Access- HDMI 2.1 standard unlike sony which only has 2.0. Stand- Much more sturdy and preferable to me to the sony's UI/Smart TV capabilities- has ALL the streaming services set up. THIS was the big selling point for me. Very user friendly and definitely easy to navigate. Has AppleTV+ which Sony does not have. Alexa integration is streamlined. Overall- 4.5/5 TV. Wish it had Dolby Vision

I wasn't sure I would like the 55" size but I really do. Color and clarity is excellent. Geek squad installed the TV on the wall. Great service and used all the safety measures. Phil did a great job.

The picture quality is great and TV works well with Q60T sound bar. The only thing is the remote is small and not crazy amount how the pop up menu options are listed. There are so many which makes navigation tedious. Would recommend investing in the optional Samsung smart console remote.

I was tired of trying to watch my old TV with the glare. Dark scenes during the daytime were near impossible to see while our floor lamp cast a pretty bad reflection at night. I did a lot of research as to what TVs were on the market that had the best anti-glare coating and this model was rated as near the best. After using it for a bit I can say it really does perform very well in a variety of lighting situations. The depth of colors on the tv are awesome. The picture is super sharp but that is to be expected with 4K. Even my wife who really isn’t big into TVs said “wow, I feel like they’re in our living room”. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Amazing picture for the price. Bought it for an xbox Series X and the difference is night and day from a 2012 1080p Model with 60hz. The 120hz rate sealed the deal and is amazing to watch.

Nice upgrade from my previous TV. I did purchase a separate upgraded HDMI cable to accommodate this newer model TV. However, slightly disappointed with the anti-glare feature. It does mute the glare when the TV is off, but I can still see the lights of my fish tank and window in the TV when I'm watching a program. Also, when I watch certain movies, in fact some of the newer movies, I get the blurred and judder effect. I have tried to adjust them personally from the TV menu options and still get the blurred effect. It doesn't happen with all movies it seems to be sporadic. Can be somewhat disturbing. It usually does have a crystal clear image. The sound is not too bad, it doesn't have many options to choose from to change the sound quality, but better than my previous TV. It does have options for additional apps which is a nice feature. I am pleased with the purchase, I may have to try a different HDMI cable to correct the judder and blur effect.

Bought this as a pc monitor. Run it with a 3090, and it will do 4K @120, which is awesome. I did a ton of reading to pick one and I think this was the best option to mix gaming with office work. The reason I did this was because I was using multiple 32 inch and it just wasn’t working well. After I discovered an app that lets me split the screen however I want, the one big screen acts like 6-8 screens in one depending on what I am doing. It is way more screen space for the footprint, and it is easier to deal with, and it doubles well for video games. I highly recommend the display. However, Samsung really needs to make it easier to not have all the bloatware .

I’ve had the q80t about a month it’s been great don’t really have anything bad to say about Samsung q80t . The good great color and the blacks are decent it’s not oled level but for an led tv it’s great . I love that I turn on my game system and it turns on my tv as well and love smooth motion on my games . I don’t play without it. So far so good so if you in the market for a tv give the q80t try you won’t regretted . People need to understand not every tv is going to be perfect people when you buy a tv it’s panel per panel, when something doesn’t work exchange it and get a second panel of the tv . Just cause the first tv is having problems doesn’t the second panel is. Give it try

This TV is amazing. I can see why the elderly people have some issues, since they didn't have technology in the dinosaur ages. Don't be afraid of the comments saying it is too "dark". Those are people who don't understand how to use a remote and have no idea how to adjust settings. I work from home, and watch sports all day and I have no problem with darkness or brightness.. Watched all the season of the Mandalorian and the picture quality is insane, went to the last season of GOT which everyone said was too dark, put the picture to dynamic and wow.... The only problem you will have with this TV is the "Samsung server is down" and some connection issues due to the ISP of your server. If you use your own router it won't have any problems, but if its a router/modem from your company you will have to use your hotspot every now and then to connect and sign in.. etc.. that is the only reason its not 5 stars. great tv for the price.

This tv I must say is super crisp and do clear! I originally had the Sony x900h and returned it for this one and omg I’m super impressed by the picture quality and design and the center stand in the middle. Watching tv, and apps like Netflix are user friendly and the sound is loud with great bass! I paired this tv with Samsung T650 sound bar and I’m feeling like I’m in the movies no lie! Make sure to calibrate it to your liking tho because out the box it’s bright with the colors. Runs so smooth with my ps5! 4 hdmi ports with one of them being 2.1 for next generation consoles and it’s marked with a controller pic. A must have TV

The wife and I shopped for several months. We were replacing a Panasonic plasma tv. The Samsung q80t has a great picture and very black blacks. It is a direct lit display so you don’t see the perimeter graying like less expensive tv’s. It has minimal motion blur or stutter. Overall we are glad we spent the extra for it. The speakers are very adequate for such a thin tv. The remote is easy to use with a guide available to see what’s coming on. The smart feature is easy to use and easy to add your favorite apps to.

We had an 8 year old LG7600 that had a terrific picture but finally called it quits. I wanted the Sony 950f but they changed the stand and it would not fit on our existing console. So we decided on the Samsung 55 Q80 and it has a very good picture but I expected a bit more. Now we have Spectrum cable service so we are not seeing any 4k broadcast TV so the picture were seeing is not all that much better than our old LG. I have not had time to make a lot of adjustments to the picture but all that being said I am happy with this TV and maybe we will switch back to Direct TV and get some 4k stuff that make this TV shine.

Easy to use remote, fairly decent sound although you still may want to get a sound bar for larger rooms. Easy set up and standard screw holes for almost any mounting bracket.
