The Anti-glare is excellent for a TV near a window! Mounting positioning is centered on the back of TV, which made a perfect fit within wall unit. Center mount position helps hide wires. Easy to add analog/hdmi converter for analog receiver w/ external speakers

I bought this TV as an upgrade from my 11 year old Samsung LCD HDTV. Sadly, it's going back to the store.
The good: compared to my old TV, the black levels, contrast, and color are exponentially better on the QN90F. 4K HDR content looks fantastic in Movie or Filmmaker modes. I very much like the anti-glare coating on the screen. It virtually eliminates the reflections that plague TV viewing in my well-light living room.
The bad: It requires constant tweaking to make non-HDR content look good. I find myself adjusting brightness, contrast, local dimming, etc, for different content. But it's the motion processing that is the deal-breaker for me. Judder reduction and motion smoothing work fairly well, but quickly reach "soap opera effect" if set much above mid range. The issue is the stuttering that occurs during panning-type motion, especially when the motion changes direction. Depending on the content being shown, it may happen every few minutes, or several times a minute. Always just a fraction of a second of stutter, as if the processor just can't keep up. It bothers me enough that I can not help but watch for it to happen, which detracts heavily from my viewing experience. Content source doesn't matter: the stuttering issue is there whether watching via the TV's own app software, or an external source such as my 4K Apple TV box. This, ultimately, is the reason I will not be keeping the QN90F.
Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung QN90F TV and your experience when watching fast-motion content. If the picture appears blurry or unnatural during high-speed scenes, there are several settings you can adjust to improve motion clarity.
Picture Clarity Settings: While originally intended for motion handling, these can also impact overall clarity • Off: Disables motion enhancements • Auto: Automatically adjusts based on content • Custom: Lets you fine-tune: o Judder Reduction – Helps smooth out uneven motion o LED Clear Motion – Boosts sharpness in fast-moving content o Noise Reduction – Reduces distortion and enhances detail in lower-resolution sources
Core Picture Settings • Brightness – Controls overall screen brightness • Contrast – Enhances the difference between bright and dark areas • Sharpness – Adjusts edge definition; closer to 20 increases detail • Color – Enhances depth and intensity of colors
You may also want to enable AI Mode, which automatically adapts picture settings based on your content, room lighting, and usage patterns. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > AI Mode Settings
And don’t forget to check for the latest firmware, which may improve performance: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
These adjustments can make a noticeable difference in overall clarity. If you need further help tailoring the settings to your preferences or environment, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. I have been looking at new TVs for couple of years, and finally decided to purchase this 2025 Samsung online from Best Buy. It was delivered in perfect condition. They have come a long way on making initial setup really easy. Love the picture quality and anti-glare screen. The on board speakers have improved a lot versus older models, although this one is connected to 7.2 Integra receiver. Overall, I am pleased with this unit

Matte finish with no glare puts the TV above the rest. Hanging in a bright room and you can't even see your reflection. Works amazing as an ART display (like the Samsung Frame) and top notch audio and speedy functionality. Samsung 'Clear Motion' on this works perfect for night viewing, just manually turn up judder reduction.

Nice sharp picture with very little reflection if any. No glare from outside sunshine coming through house windows. Very good sound quality for such a "thin" flat panel television.

I've had this tv for three weeks and am very happy with it. I originally purchased a TCL QM7K, which is an outstanding tv and almost half the price of the Samsung. The tv lives in a room with bright windows opposite it during the day and lamps at night. I knew the Samsung matte screen would be perfect (the 12 year old Samsung I was replacing had a matte screen) but the cost difference and quality of the TCL along with the advertised anti-glare screen coating made me try it.
To be honest I think the TCL has a marginally better in contrast and color. However, the anti-glare didn't do much. We lived with it for several weeks and ultimately decided to return it and pony up the extra money for the Samsung. It was a great decision.
The matte screen virtually eliminates reflections. The most we see are faint glows of light that disappear when the tv is on. I will say the Samsung took longer to calibrate but once done it's great.
The sound is very good for casual tv watching. For music or movies that need volume I switch the sound to the stereo.
I can't comment on the Tizen OS as we use a Fire TV 4K Max, Also we don't game so I can't comment on how the tv works for that.

Very pleased with the picture quality Samsung QN90F QLED. My previous TV was Samsung OLED and the QLED is the same quality. On line set up was a little tricky but got through it OK. Need a sound bar for quality sound.

Went in to replace a TV knowing 55's can be $300 or maybe $700 for a more featured model - spent $1400 on this one and well worth it. The non-glare screen is perfect yet it's bright with great contrast & color. Nothing like the 'frame matt' TV's that look dull. The Atmos works great too with the Samsung soundbar.

The anti-glare technology is a gamechanger. The TV appears matte black and is easy to look at even when off. Went in hoping to buy an LG at the same price point & was told it was super bright, but not anti-glare. So far we're extremely happy with the purchase. Set up was fairly easy. Only thing I really dislike is that the Samsung live TV channel line up trumps the Xfinity stream one. I looked up how to effect this and tried unsuccessfully for hours. Finally hooked back up the old traditional cable box.

We have been with Samsung for our entertainment for a very long time. Our last TV was a Series 8, and it still gave us trouble-free viewing, but we felt the need to upgrade. We purchased the QN90F 55" TV. Wow! After a short time of tweaking the unit, it is absolutely amazing. The contrast is absolutely life-like... It's like looking through a window or actually being at the football game. Channels can look a bit different, and you have to just except that. Can't be happier with this unit.

Couldn't have made a better choice. Watching movies and soccer games/highlights hit different with this TV. Q-Symphony with my small soundbar S800B creates a different level of experience.

We have an older model Samsung TV for over 10 years and this worked great. We upgraded for many of the newer features associated with the newer Neo QLED model with AI assist and have been extremely impressed. The image quality is amazing in any light
