Item came with an odd discoloration in the upper center of the screen. Mainly noticeable when the background in the picture is solid. Since we had already had to return the 7900 because the screen was shattered we are waiting to see if the issue gets worse. Other than that so far it works well.

To determine whether the issue is related to the TV itself, we recommend running a Picture Test, which displays a high-definition test image for you to examine. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

We love this TV. Easy to use and comes with many apps that use today and possibly in the future.
We appreciate your purchase and feedback on the inputs available on the U8000F. You are correct, the U8000F does not offer an optical input; however, the TV offers 3 HDMI ports, is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable, allowing a seamless connection across multiple devices at a time.

Excellent TV quality, resolution, performance. Installation was done by a Geek Squad professional and much appreciated. TV works well with all apps and devices.

Love how quickly I was able to compare tvs online before going in to purchase item. Store staff was quick to help and process procurement of item. Very easy and time effective process from beginning to end.
